    Just had another bottle of grape wine come due and this time it was done with wine maker's yeast as an experiment. I can taste more alcohol in it and because it's wine maker's yeast, it has converted more of the sugar into alcohol. This affects the taste...it's not as sweet and is more potent. It's okay and I'll finish drinking it, but I think from this point on, I'll use it up making alcohol wash where the opportunity for dilution can come into play. There just isn't any better wine than sticking close to PawPaw's bread maker's yeast recipe. Keep on DoingItCheap PawPaw!

      ✅ I was wanting to try “brewers” yeast. Glad you posted this comment. I want to try (distilled) water-wine. Every glass could be differently flavored w Kool- Aid.....nice for summer. 💥

    I like your intro. I used to play a lot of bluegrass music with my late grandfather. I play guitar, bass, mandolin, and banjo. We used to play at a lot bluegrass jamborees and festivals. At people's front porches and wherever. I'm like you I like doing it cheap I look for bargains and I'm not rich. I'm also a DIY Builder. Maybe here soon I'm going to start a UA-cam channel on diy builds on birdhouses and whatever comes to mind.

    Hey man! I like your ideas. But. You could take the Hook off the bigger chain and used the 2"inch pipe. Put the Hook on after you get it through! No more logical explanations! You're! Still good with me.

    • @DoingItCheap
      @DoingItCheap  5 місяців тому

      The idea behind this is to have an easy way to connect/disconnect. I thought of putting the hook on the tubing/pipe short chain or even welding a hook directly onto the tube. But using a chain with no hook limits what you can do with a hookless chain. Cutting teeth into the tubing is a good idea and you might just get credit for that in an upcoming video after youtube tells me you are a subscriber !!

      Yes indeed! I have a lot of land to reclaim. We have a tendency to avoid briars and tree limbs when we mow the yard or pastures and the small brush becomes larger and encroaches into our fields. You will see in upcoming videos just how far it is from the bushes to the original fence line. Well over 30 feet in some areas.

    instead of hooking to the short piece of chain, would it work if hooked it to back of the tubbing?

    • @DoingItCheap
      @DoingItCheap  5 місяців тому +2

      I thought about that but that would allow the unit to slide around to where the tree would lay alongside the tubing. Also, I thought that it might distort it to where I couldn't remove the hook or chain. Who knows? That's what makes experimenting fun !!

I guess that is why doctors prescribe all kinds of different drugs, to see which one works for an individual. You could try cayenne pepper on that stick in your butt.

    why worry about the hook going through the tube just get about a 4 or 5 feet length of chain, attach to the 2x2 or whatever tube you have. wrap around the sapling or brush drop through the tube and hook the tow chain to the end that comes out the other end.
