😁I'm happy for you sir. Well done!!! And I love the fact that your wife has been with you side by side filming the whole thing. Fantastic!

Thank you!! I couldn't have done this without all the support from her, and from the TZR Forum and the South Coast TZR WhatsApp group. There's a lot of 2 stroke passion shared into this one little bike!

I,m a bit disappointed that you didn’t get that nose fairing painted on the o/s, but I suppose the paint is a bit of a mish mash,. It would look nice in a Marlboro paint scheme, it’s been a long road to get this far, bit of a dramatic bum twitchy moment at the accident junction, how much has it all cost ? Imagine the labour costs if you had to pay someone to strip and reassemble it !, insurance would have probs written it off,,mot sorted, so will miss the tzr content, cheers,.

@cabovermike Very good point! I have a spare nose one that I’ll get painted in matching colours. The original has been very patched up but I used that one as it matched the fairing lowers. I’ll do that over the summer when I have a bit more cash! Talking of cash I think I’ll need to add that up, a few parts and the majority of money going into Maidstone Motoliner for the straightening. As for TZR content I’m going to get this on the dyno at some point and of course I’ll be taking it out for meets! Thanks for being part of this journey with me!

Excellent work mate that you have done with the bike, building it up, repairs and filming these great tutorial clips. Glad its now ready to legally ride around. I got a 3xv myself and fondly remember a few years ago when i bought her, going through the same motions as you have by stripping it down completely, refurbing, getting it running, tuning, then licensing. Good fun bike that i always wanted. Take care. Thanks again for taking the time and for the great vids. 😊👌🏍

Thanks so much for your good wishes! These are great bikes! I have this and an RD350 and I have to say I prefer riding the TZR!

There are other non-genuine mirrors on yahoo japan that are exactly as factory other than the body is matt like the ones you have. Just in case you didn't like the way those mounts look compared to factory.

Thanks, I’ll take a look. To get it back closer to before the crash it’ll help. I also need a new clutch lever that’s not bent!

Thanks B 😊 As you may have noticed in my voice at the mot place, I’m the one that’s sick this week, but when I’m better I’m riding and flying! 😎

Probably about $15k to get a fully restored one! Check out the TZR Forum for help and bikes for sale!
