Went to the emergency today. I used this inhaler for the first time, but forgot even after the doctor told me! I am very happy to receive your advice from the UA-cam. It really helped me a lot and everyone will get benefit. Thank you very much.😍👍😊
This was very helpful! Several other videos we watched were not as clear on how to use the spacer. This video was very clear and easy to understand especially for someone that has never used an inhaler of any kind, must less one with the spacer. Thank you so much for this video.
Thank you. Turns out I have been doing it wrong lol. Breathing in and out quickly a few times which caused spacer to make whistle sound. Thank you for the help
I was informed by emergency folks to have my son breath in and out through the inhaler 5-8 times for each puffs, but I can't find that in writing anywhere. Is that true?
@@4QBI don’t be worried, breathing normally should be your priority. Side effects will not be anything horrible otherwise the product wouldn’t be used so often. However if you do want to inform yourself just take a look at the prescription
My spacer has a valve in the mouth piece so this is wrong & my personal chemist sent to me by my doctor also said I'm doing it wrong,so confusing & not improving neither.
If we keep our head up then it might go to our throats n the medicine has no effect right?. But if i keep head straight then i feel like it will leak down to my tissue and goto waste . What to do 🥲
Or have you? I don’t follow the rinse after actuation and have never had thrush. As it’s a reliever it contains nothing to incite thrush. However I was invited to start using Fostair as I was asking for a longer period of relief from any medication which suited. This is a new venture for me as I’ve been using Ventolin for over 50 years but wanted to try and reduce the frequency of need. I hope the doctors can find something more suitable to me than Fostair which has left me to be constantly on the verge of an Asthma attack. I just hope this effect can be reversed as my breathing has never been worse and in the short period of time which I was using Fostair. Cough wheeze n puff 😮💨 good luck 😉
I just can't seem to feel it going down all i end up with is a dry mouth after risning still .i clasp it tighly but still feel nothing what am i doing wrong and its hard to nit breath fast if needing to take it cos breathing fast ...but even when u do breath slowwr it still feels like its not gone down and still a very dry mouth.
Why spacer is needed ? I use only inhaler from last more then 25 years. What is difference between with spacer as you shown here and to inhale without spacer, please guide me as I am asthama patient. I am 80 years of age.
Hello! A spacer is recommended for people of all ages. It helps to get more medicine down in your lower airways, which will give you relief much faster. Using the MDI alone will have you with more of the medicine in your mouth and not going to the proper organs once swallowed. A spacer also holds the medicine in the chamber for 10 seconds, making it easier for the patient to just breathe in slow and deep. As you know, using the MDI, you have to breathe in really fast once you press on the canister and release the meds. I'd definitely recommend you talking to a Respiratory Therapist. They will definitely teach you the proper way and let you know the spacer is the only way to go. 😀
Breathing too fast .Try slow and deep. Recap mouth piece rest and then take another breath.Chamber captures meditation so you don’t lose in the air. Hope this helps.
Incorrect medical advice. When using your medication and spacer you release one puff and then breathe in and out gently 4 TIMES. Then you repeat as required following the same directions.
I just gotAlbuterol Sulfate for the first time since I have Boncaitus dose it taste like bad fruit to anyone else it makes me want to vomit when using my inhale.

Thank you for this tutorial! I do have a question. Should my inhaler stay attached to the spacer now always? Or should I remove it?
You should remove it and clean it after every use.

Is there any side effect of using an albuterol inhaler? If I feel trouble in breathing?
No, if you need it, you should take it. Side effects, if would exist, only temporarily, and not anything major. Such as fast heart rate.
What are the side effects? I'm worried
