- G'day friends! We are back in the Northern Territory! Join us as we drive the Red Centre Way, from Alice Springs, to the West MacDonnell Ranges, King's Canyon and of course, Uluru. This is the ultimate travel guide to Central Australia.
This episode is a little different, as we don't have the van! We were invited to come back to the NT by Tourism NT, to check out some of the sights and experiences we might have missed last time. From hot air balloons, to helicopter flights, unique accomodation and lesser known experiences, we show you all in this complete travel guide to the Red Centre Way.
We hope you enjoy this episode!
Thanks to Tourism NT for supporting this adventure. You can find out more about driving the Red Centre Way here: northernterrit...

Terrific tours thank you & I hope the Northern Territory get a lot of tourists from your videos. I hope they go overseas as they are so good. Elaine Queensland .
Thanks Elaine!! We do get the bulk of our views in Australia, but I agree, it would be nice to have some more viewers from overseas! It’s such a great part of Australia, we are honoured to showcase it!
We did find a baby joey in it's dead mother's pouch on the road once when I was a kid. We took him home and bottle fed him until he was old enough to go to the local kangaroo sanctuary where he could go back to the wild. It was fun having him live with us.
Awww that would have been amazing!!
Such a truly amazing place, incredible ancient history of rock formations, palms and canyons. Certainly should be on everyone's bucket list! Thank you Sue and Nigel for this episode, truly enjoyable and informative.
Absolutely! We believe you haven’t really seen Australia until you’ve been to the NT
Wow,so beautiful
Thank you 🙏 it’s definitely a beautiful part of the world
Absolutely stunning footage, thank you for such for sharing your amazing adventures. The scenery is just stunning. Jay
Thanks Jay, have you been to the Red Centre?
No Sue, but am certainly inspired by yours and Nigels travels to get there@@nigelandsueadventures
Beautiful!
It’s such a special part of our country. Very spiritual
What a fabulous video. Such amazing scenery and experiences. Makes me want to do that trip one day. What made you both decide to do this trip back to the NT without your van? Just a different type of holiday? It’s wonderful. I’ll be looking forward to the next one. 😁🤗💖
We were invited back by Tourism NT to take some photos for them, so it was a “working holiday” I guess!
@@nigelandsueadventures That’s absolutely awesome. Perfect opportunity. I’ve no doubt you did a great job. 😁
@@LynneCarey thanks so much Lynne! We now have the big job of all the editing!
@@nigelandsueadventures Ah. Well I guess it can’t be fun all the time. Although I’m sure editing can be fun too. Depending. 😁
Absolutely fantastic Vlog, I’m exhausted just watching all the places you guys visit cheer’s from Downunder ❤️🦘🦘🦘
Well we have been on the road for almost 3 years now!! Thanks for watching all our archives
it is breathtaking indeed, Nigel and Sue. what were your jobs before becoming full-time travel vloggers?
Nigel still works as a helicopter pilot, but only part of the year. Sue is a retired makeup artist.
Oh my goodness! A Nigel dive combined with Harry High Pants fashion! What a treat :-)😜 Sue how do you keep your white top so bright while travelling through dusty places and washing on the road??? Really love the dot artworks you did. Both sets are fantastic, but if I had to pick between them, I'd say the second ones you did. I have added Maruku to my list of places to visit 👍
Haha good question… don’t look too close, my white clothes have a few stains on them.
Oh my gosh best Nigel dive yet bahahaha 😂
The pressure is on for him to keep improving these dives!!
Did you any lightning storms in the Red Centre in the Australia’s Northern Territory?🌩️
Sadly no. That would be an incredible sight to see!
Interesting you been there a few times and Haven't come across The Telegraph Station the reason Alice was there in the first place That's ok maybe next time 😀
Hi Kevin, we've been to the Telegraph Station a couple of times, the awesome Mountain Bike trails leave from there. It's a lovely park.
@@nigelandsueadventures You didn't put in your videos?
sorry just wanted to see a perspective from a visitor
I have enjoyed your journey across Australia
PS I have a soft spot for the Alice
PSS You should see a sunrise from Anzac here but you went on a balloon so I guess you got best seat in house
Well done Always wanted to go on Balloon Ride about closest to a birds eye view one can and feel the air at same time truly amazing experience
Oh one more tip next time you visit Central check out Palm Springs
Sue, does your painting represent you and Nigel on your journey through life. The circles are you and Nigel, the white lines are the mountains and the blue the waterways or maybe airwaves Nigel flys through.
You’re very close Lee! It does represent our journey, through Australia. The white is the road we’ve taken and the blank section is because we haven’t done that section yet.
How was Nigel with someone else flying the helicopter?
He was actually really good. A lot more relaxed than he thought he might be. The pilot was great.
Great coverage is this your honeymoon ❤ just wondering 🫶
Hahaha, no it was a work trip! We were creating content for Tourism NT. Having said that, we did have a couple on their honeymoon on our table at the Sounds of Silence dinner. They were from Korea.
Nice to get a vacation on a work trip! Looks like great fun and some different adventures. (by the way, we put money down on a van! Will be a holiday van for us but are super excited to get it and start building it out 😆)
Oh that’s so exciting Roberta! What sort of van did you get?
Ford transit 148in wb, high roof. We are going to put in flares to sleep cross ways.
Sounds like a good plan. How exciting for you!!
