This is so so helpful!!!! Ever since I’ve learned of the 1,000 hours outside I’ve been spinning my wheels because I just keep thinking, “why am I so slow at cooking!? When am I supposed to be cleaning!??” And then I end up feeling like a failure both on the part of keeping up on chores and not reaching that time spent outside!😅 I’m so happy to hear that it’s not just me. If you’re out of the house it actually means you aren’t spending that time cooking and cleaning and keeping up on things!
For me, I choose not to drink or promote any amount of alcohol at all. That way I don't have to worry about becoming an alcoholic (especially if alcoholism is in the family), or having loose inhibitions, or propagating cancer in my body (alcohol is a Class 1 carcinogen) or being a stumbling block to other Christians or non-Christians.
I think of Aristotle in the same category as people like Jordan Peterson. Not quite Christian, but lots of wisdom + strong focus on virtue but not founded upon faith.
Thank you so much for speaking on this. I really enjoy listening to you both. I know that the podcast has ads as a way to make money and I am good with that. But this episode had soo many ads that youtube played. Would it be possible to have just a bit less? Regardless, I will continue to listen and am grateful to both of you!
The UA-cam-based ads are annoying but I love that a Christian household is earning money from them. So I'm all for the ads, honestly, if viewing them helps a bit. I just mute them and skip them anyways.
@Brian_Sauve well over here sauve is a household name. Please make your hearth songs album into a vinyl so my daughter can play it on her record player. She absolutely loves old Neptune.
1:03:55 I always thought self control and temperance were synonymous, but your explanation really made sense!

I listened yesterday and I’m listening again today! So so good. I appreciate you two so much. Praying for y’all’s ministry.
Thank you!

‘Breeding room’? Now there’s a Mother Jones headline: ‘Utah’s Handmaid Tells All!’

Dude, the comment section between your post on youtube and x are night and day, lots of demoniacs over there.
There are lots of folks on X with Sauvé Derangement Syndrome.
