Another very informative video, Clyde. I noticed yesterday that one of my Opuntia crests is putting out some normal growth so I’ll have to cut those off eventually. I use the cinnamon powder on cuttings too, also learnt that from Lyn. I used cinnamon on the cuttings I sent to you as well 👍🏻 Thank you for sharing with us as always my friend, have a wonderful Sunday from Edith & myself to you and Deb 🌵☀️🌼🌸🌺🏜

Enjoyed the video Clyde, always something to learn from your knowledge 👍😁 I use cinnamon too 😆 I got the idea from Maria a while back, of "Maria's Garden" here on UA-cam, she uses it religiously, she has great information! 😀

Grt. Chapter on Euphorb. 101 , I'm glade you covered this information. I've had a question / thought !? on Cresting for awhile ! What causes it! and can a Hobbyist replicate it into the jeans of a seedling from pollination or other undiscovered ways ... if not already ! Something similar to animal breeding for genetics if you will!! to get the genetics from the parent plants . In addition , why I've had these interest is... I have a Crested Obesa Male .. so , my thought was... if I pollenate it to a crested Female the chances are that that much greater the seedlings would have the genetic jeans to reproduce as crested ! Or is my theory incorrect!! At the same time it is trying to correct itself w/ a main stem/ trunk ... I'd hate to cut it Off since it would give it an Eye Sore Look, being from where it's growing ! Hopefully it goes back to mutating ! I would Greatly Appreciate your input Knowledge/ Expertise ...Thank you .. From Calif. Rosemead/Temple City .. Your Old Hood! lol .. Cactus On !

Very interesting! I’m not sure if you mentioned it but can a crested Euphorbia be grown in its own roots?

Have you ever had your normal growing euphorbia or cacti start cresting? I only have the normal growing white lactea. What is the likelihood that i'd end up with a crested arm?
