0:00 Schoolchildren admiring the majestic King's Guard and his gorgeous horse. One of them wants to be a royal guard, I suppose.
5:00 Watering the King's horse on a hot day in London. Thank you, soldier, for your excellent service!
5:23 PRICELESS REACTION FROM KING'S GUARD:
The soldier at Horse Guards took a photograph of a King's Guard with her parents, holding card saying, "OUR LITTLE GIRL" resulting in a priceless smile from the guard. What a proud moment for the parents!
6:31 Watering the other horse. Tourists love watching the horse drink water. Thank you, soldier, for that.
20:06 The boss, CoH, asked tourists to stand behind the bollards, as the Changing of the Guard at 2 pm would start soon.
22:35 The CoH warned Ormonde as the CoH assisted the Horseman. Ormonde is the name of the most famous horse from the Horse Guards with the Arnie, which is the second most famous.
23:50 From now on, tourists who do not respect Ormonde's space will get a big chance of being bitten by this horse. There is a warning on the side that says, "BEWARE! Horse may bite..."
27:53 This large group of beautiful young women fell in love with the horse and stood on the side, watching Ormonde bite. They laughed, and their laughter made the majestic King's Guard smile during one of the horse's nips.
34:28 The soldier is very attentive; he is assisting the horseman.
37:53 The tourist engaged in an unusual behaviour by attempting to provoke a horse in order to be bitten for a duration of three minutes. Tourists had warned him.
39:19 Oh, no! Now, there's one more tourist on one side of the horse, provoking a horse's bite. Tourists keep warning them.
50:49 UNBELIEVABLE: The little boy is getting a bit closer to the horse.
53:31 Visit the other horseman and his gorgeous horse. This horse is a gentle horse.
    57:45 Toddler: 100% of the King's Guard's attention.
58:18 This horse is not for children, but the parents keep coming...
1:02:24 Horse Ormonde is like, "Go away, tourists! Leave me alone!"
1:03:17 Tourist screams and runs away from the horse. The horseman does his best to protect these tourists who don't respect the sign.
1:04:57 HORSE REFUSES TO GET IN THE TRAILER. Horse Guards gates are closed as the soldiers loading the gorgeous horse in the trailer.
1:08:01 KING'S GUARD COULDN'T STOP SMILING because the group of tourists that had been enjoying the love of Ormonde laughed at this woman as the horse nipped her...
MUST-WATCH THIS SCENE - Like her hat!
1:12:53 Great view of the other King's Guard and his horse.
1:14:16 After 45 minutes of watching the famous horse Ormonde in action with stubborn tourists, the women are going but already looking back. I am sure they will miss Ormonde as they enjoyed this evening a lot at Horse Guards.
1:15:22 the famous Changing of the Guard at 3 pm.
1:15:31 Boundaries: The soldier kindly asked tourists to stand back as he spoke to the King's Guard.

Horse nips tourist's shoulder, and she says, "Sorry!"
1:20:33 New angle to watch the "Horsemen" during the Changing of the Guard.

Its funny to see tourists thinking they are some kind of 'horse whisperer' with Ormonde, only to slink off defeated, with a big brused ego! Ha ha! Go Ormonde !

    "The King’s Life Guard
The King's Life Guard is performed by soldiers of the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment at Horse Guards. Horse Guards derives its name from the troops who have conducted The King's Life Guard there since the Restoration of King Charles II in 1660.
The ceremony has remained largely unchanged for more than 350 years.
The King's Life Guard Changing Ceremony commences at 11:00 AM with the Old Guard assembled on Horse Guards Parade. Upon the arrival of the New Guard, a trumpeter plays a royal salute, and the officer acknowledges with a salute. The New Guard then positions itself facing the Old Guard.
Upon achieving a state of stillness for both lines, the senior non-commissioned officer, corporal major, and sentries of the New Guard (the initial relief) will rein in their horses and proceed to the guard room to assume their responsibilities for a duration of 48 hours. Subsequently, the sentries from the Old Guard will return to the parade ground, and the entire Old Guard will make their way back to the barracks.
In the presence of the monarch within London, an extended security detail, referred to as the "long guard," is deployed. This contingent comprises an officer, a corporal major carrying the regimental standard, two non-commissioned officers, a trumpeter, and ten troopers. However, when the monarch is absent, the security detail is scaled down to a "short guard," consisting of two non-commissioned officers and ten troopers.
Regardless of the prevailing meteorological conditions or the time of year, members of the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment consistently travel from Hyde Park Barracks in Knightsbridge to assume guard duties.
    TIMINGS OF DUTIES
The Guard Change currently takes place on: Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 11am.
The two iconic soldiers on horses that mount duty on Whitehall at the entrance of Horse Guards change on the hour every hour from 10am until 4pm."
According to the Household Cavalry: householdcavalry.co.uk/museum/about-us/
The Household Cavalry Foundation is the official charity for the Household Cavalry.
The Household Cavalry Foundation relies solely on public donations. All funds go to their five charitable areas: serving soldiers, operational casualties, veterans and dependants, and our heritage and our horses.

This got ridiculous. Like a giant game of Dare. The tourons think they are outwitting the horse but the only reason they aren’t getting bit is the Trooper’s fast reflexes. He should have let Ormonde bite the dude in black. So annoying.

It will end eventually when the decision is reached that ridiculous tourist behavior must stop.

They just don’t understand that they are grating the horse which is the reason he is behaving that way. They need to stop. It isn’t funny. Love the horses and Guards. ❤

I am sure these horses are bored out of their minds and nip at tourists for entertainment.
Have had/loved horses my entire life. They are very intelligent animals.
I have noticed that experienced horse people are rarely “nipped at”.

For goodness sake leave the poor horse alone...its animal abuse to torment them! Give them their space. Finally the 4ladies have moved...were there for well over an hour. Too bad we missed the loading of th horses at the back.
