    In my opinion, the King's Guard is in charge of the horse and managing their job exceedingly well. They know what to do according to their job descriptions. They observe everything, and their actions are always timely. We should be very careful not to disrespect them by interfering with their job. They are well-assisted by the CoH, soldiers and armed police officers. I highlight this situation because in the comments section, we can discuss it, respecting someone else's opinion and learning from it. My utmost respect to the King's Guard. Utmost respect to the tourists who are important to the UK economy.❤🇬🇧

    NOT an assault. They were simply trying to help as he didn't understand, and grabbed the reins again. 3:21 - If that was an assault, then this would be attempted manslaughter, this guard allowing someone to touch and hang all over him! When it's not corrected, more and more people attempt it! Consistency is lacking. ~~~~~ 15:16 - She shouldn't have been allowed to manhandle that horse and hold it's head, not allowing it to move! 17:35 - Go away already!! What a selfish woman!! She's allowed to manhandle the horse yet again! ~~~~~ 40:59 - People need to quit molesting and kissing these poor horses! 🤮 The horses could get something from them!

    • @Snookscat
      @Snookscat 3 місяці тому +6

      I didn’t see any manhandling or molesting there? There were a couple of ladies who stroked or scratched the horse’s neck and put their other hand on its nose when it leaned into them. There was no pressure on the horse and no way on earth could they prevent it from moving. A horse is quite a bit stronger than that. If it wanted to move its head away, it would have. Surely you’ve seen some of the horses that don’t like people so close frequently shake their heads, swing them left or right-even push a person over, stomp the ground and step away, etc. The guards and horses are quite capable of taking care of themselves.

      @@Snookscat You're entitled to your opinion, and I respect that. The terms that I used, as I understand them to be, definitely apply to this instance. Manhandle means to move something by human strength, which she was doing with the horses head. It didn't mean she was doing it roughly. Molesting means to interfere with, which she was doing as she held the horses head, again, not roughly, preventing the horse from interacting with any one but her. I never mentioned anything about the horse not being able to take care of itself. He was a chill horse, but people take advantage of horses such as this one, as others are waiting to get a photo. Folks need to think about others, and not just themselves, which is the main point I was trying to make. Nothing more.

    It’s not the tourist place to police what others are doing, but dang call them out when the Guard can’t see, or they all will be punished,maybe our society isn’t about following rules in other countries.

    Cute guard, looks new to me but maybe not. Beautiful horse, I will call her Elizabeth Taylor since I don't know her name (or his, maybe he is a gelding). I guess that name would be National Velvet after the movie which I think was made at Pinewood Studios near Uxbridge but not sure of that. I don't call that assault but just another nosy woman sticking in her two cents. Wonderful guards and police too, I like it when they are strong and there are a number as we know. Good men.

    Assault, when they grabbed the people to move them away from the horses? I’m not sure about UK laws, but here it would be. They are not police or guards and have no right to be essentially policing the actions of others. It’s not as if those were their children, who parents might move away from the situation if the kids are getting out of hand.

    • @Snookscat
      @Snookscat 3 місяці тому +1

      @peabody634. No need to shout! I’m from Canada, btw, not America! If you put your hand on someone (or generally just touch them at all) without permission, you could be charged with assault (even if it’s not violent). There are few exceptions. I’m not saying that’s right in every circumstance, nor is that the way it always goes, just that it can. So the answer to the question of “Is this assault”, for us, is technically “yes”. Normally I would think of a slap or punch or shove to the ground as assault, but that’s not the way it’s legally looked at (in Canada). 🇨🇦
