Swedish cover version of "Song And Dance Man'", originally released in 1958 by Sammy Davis Jr. Written by Dave Mann and Bob Hilliard. Swedish lyrics by Uno Asplund.
Jan Malmsjö is one of Swedens most loved entertainers. He started his career in the late 50s and is still active to this day. He masters all kind of musical genres, a superb actor on screen, stage and TV and a performer in every sense of the word. His recording career took off 1967 and he scored a string of hits in the charts during the 60s, 70s and 80s.
As the expression "Sång- Och Dans-Man" in Swedish also has another meaning, I find the lyrics quite funny. The A-side, "Botten Upp" spent a few weeks in the Swedish chart Svensktoppen in 1968, but this one never charted.
