In ‘CHAT-SHIRE’, my first album I took part in producing in my 20s, I used a bunch of flowers as a metaphor for my age (23).
Be it fancy flowers or small flowers. Back then, I believed that I would be in full bloom when the time comes.
In my 30s, I realised that there’s no reason and no need for everything in the world to become flowers, so I’ve decided to live as a holssi (dandelion seed) fluttering softly in the sky. Like a shopper who doesn’t get tired of (shopping), I want to look around and roam about without a destination in mind, putting in my shopping cart various options that are on display from everywhere in my world.
That’s why there’s a shopping cart in mv ,not because she represent homeless. I laughed my lung out every time people said that. 😅

The shopping cart here is a little glimpse of her other song called the Shopper which scheduled to release tomorrow and IU just released a special interview clips explaining what the Holssi and shopper are about which makes total sense! Can’t wait for the album release tomorrow!

20대에는 꽃 다웠지만
30대에는 굳이 꽃이 아니라 민들레 홀씨처럼 얽매이지 않겠다는 의미라고 둘은거 같습니다
