Haha, I have been a pianist since I have memory😂 I’m also a piano teacher, and I’m sorry to tell you, that will never happen 😂😂 there will be a time you will feel so close, and there is always going to be a new piece to test your almost gained independence 😂😂😂😂😂😂.
My second channel is small and cost like literally $58 and it's going to come it in three days. It was like four days and now it's three days so I'm gonna do that we're gonna come so you fucking video yeah I don't know but you're gonna help me what is in three days
This is me on the guitar, I hate how close the strings are to each other. It’s probably cause I’ve been playing piano for a year and my hands are used to pianos.
Oh I have the solution for you. Give it a try and don’t give up on the first attempt, this is gonna be hard. The problem why this is happening to you is because your hand has no control so you have to gain control, a way to do that is to do the exercises in mute , I don’t mean your mute button, but your fingers ability to play silenced. Yes!! It is possible but requires a ton of control and focus even for me 😜😅😅 you just gave me an idea for a video for my students 😁 thanks,
For all those struggling it’s the same exact pattern for both hands. So if you’re feeling confused, just remember the right hand and have the left hand do the same thing
This Grand-master pianist gives this video an A+ for Authenticity and Authentic! Keep it up and some day you will be just like me and greater if nought better!
Very good exercise indeed ☺️👏👏 Old Hanon exercises are the best, I use it with all my students but I have to admit I hated them when I was a little girl studying 😂. They work you guys. I promise they work, just make sure you also do it slow ☺️ and gradually gain speed.
Hey how’s it going?? I bought a piano 2 years ago and barely played it but I’m learning now too! It’s only day 3 and I’m tired but l wanna know if you had any luck with it??
@@julesa1754 An exercise cannot give you less tension or better flow. It's playing the exercise correctly that matters. Any of the Hanon or czerny exercises are better than this one. But again, the exercise itself is not as important as HOW the exercise is executed.
So this is more related to finger independence as opposed to hand independence? Adding the left hand throws hand independence into the mix, but just practicing with one hand alone is practicing finger independence?
What about strength and trill like notes with 3-5 and 4-5 fingers? Specially the 5th finger is slightly weak and on trill like notes such as in Dismantle by Peter Sandberg, right hand.
Will definitely try it ,i have this horrible issue when i need to change the keys and put my fingers on different part of keyboard in resonably short time. I endup pressing 2 keys next to eachother. I think i need to put on some stickers with some uneven texture so my fingers can grip the surface better and not slip so easily. I dont have pianist hand 😂 (thats what people in my country call people with long fingers and pretty small long palm ) instead i have short fingers and wide palm and i can definitely feel it has some impact on how i play.🙂
these are not the english notes for the piano my guy, these are the greek names for it this guy is not greek. not everyone SPEAKS YOUR LANGUAGE people like you rly get on my nerves just because ur australian doesnt mean every living being on the planet is australian
The annoying thing about finger independence practice, you eventually start to make this practice a pattern, it stops being an independence practice and just muscle memory, so does polyrythem, i cant really do a 3:2, i just know what its supposed to be like 1-223-1, without actually feeling the rythem or anything
Thanks, I'm a 20 year old (with almost 40 years of experience) and I'm starting to self-taught myself to play the piano. Is it normal that if I perform this exercise with my eyes closed I can do it better than with my eyes open looking at the keyboard? ... anyway thanks for these tips, I saw that your latest book is also available here on Amazon Italy, and I will probably buy it, to integrate it with the method I already use. I read English very well, I just hope that the different notation of the notes (CDEFGAB instead of DoReMiFaSolLaSi) won't be a problem for me. Thank you, and ciao from Italy.
if I learned it in 5 minutes for both left and right hand. It's a good sign ? My first steps in life on the android piano application. I decided to see if I was suitable for it. If so, I want to buy my first instrument and it will be a Casio CT-X700 keyboard.
Oh boy... it takes some getting used to. Here I go doing this for 30 minutes every day for a week. Then the other hand. That one's probably gonna take two weeks before I can do this continuously at the same speed.
I know the sheet music exercises this is from, and it's fucking like 24 variations of what you are showing, why not just talk about the actual start of it? The first one is AEFGAGFEDFGAB....going on like that in BOTH hands, for many octaves.
Im waiting for the day when i can say " Happy finger independence day "

My hands are so uncoordinated with my brain 🥲
I feel you

Yes me to but with repetition you will get it
Me too
Me too 😞😞😞

this really got my brain firing :) I played the violin as a kid but as an adult im starting piano I always wanted to play it :)
I hate the hand positioning for piano cuz I always accidently hit another key or hit all of them at the same timeeeeee
me tooo😢

I heard it was better to keep your inactive fingers resting on top of the keys while the one finger plays, to ensure there's no unintentional movement
Yes at first but if you want to improve and complexify your left hands accords, you'll have to be more independent with your left fingers
This was a very helpful video I’ll be sure to say tune for another tip

I’m practicing right now and this is really healthy for my brain thank so much !

thnku for this very useful and informative advice❤
Thanks 🙏
Thank you very much for this
I used this to help my students
This is basically a Hanon exercise.
How many times do you advise to repeat it ?
I am going to give it a go, had piano for seven years and never had time to learn, wish me luck 🥰🥰

@@zainabplaystheflute how's progress!? if u've been practicing that is. a lot can be learned in a month:] any fav songs in particular u learned ??
I'm going to do this. I really think this will help.
Thanks!
Thank you!
Good lesson

This is a great lesson
I keep trying to do this but I always fail why am i so bad at piano I’m literally crying rn i hate this
did you get it? I’m trying it too
Thank you!
Superb
Can someone explain why this exercise is so good?
For finger independence. Gives you better flow and less tension as you play
It’s not

This is a good exercise on guitar as well. I still suck on piano thought 😂.
@@brianfarrell7829 could you recommend me better exercises for finger independence? my ring and pinky are difficult to control.
Dont know but the tune felt like mickey mouse and clubhouse
the day I become pro is thanks to your ideas here

Is learning piano any harder for left handed people??
Thanks rlly helpfull
Don't do it on only white keys. Learn each major and minor key to do this and every other finger excersise with black keys included.
it's sounds like mio-mio-mi, used in vocalization 😄
its hard to press Sol after Mi, coz the 4th finger keep touching Fa 😅

Me here hurting my fingers instead of exercising them
Oh man ! It's so hard 😢
sir pls can you show how to release your fingers when playing the keyboard as a beginner

Very helpful thanks
D: i was so motivated when its slow then its like like just do it faster > my face lol D: i dont know anymore im scared haha 😂😫😪😭😭😭
The first 6 notes are the notes for "M-I-C-K-E-Y" in the mickey mouse themee song. But the song is actually in D major😂
What about the left hand?
I can't control it but Ill try 😞
Kinda sounds like " M I C K E Y " before the last 3 notes
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️⭐️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
So if I do this I’ll get better Fosho?
Can someone paste it in comments I can’t see it it’s too low

ok I get it,but what about black keys?
This is for your fingers not keys
If you can play it slow you can play it fast

Why not 3-1 at the end?
My Left hand is stubborn 😢
not just yours!
Or practice études front c czerny :D
How to practice black key
Use the same pattern and transpose it up or down

use the exact same pattern. 5-3-4-2-3-1-2-4-5 with 5 being on the C
Okay I figure it out basically play it backwards
Czerny 😂
Hooy😂😂
Pls can you be my teacher 🙏🙏
you have to keep your thumb over the key….
Hi pls I love ur teaching
I really hope your not teaching your students with that floating thumb, that’s some serious tension
why is this soooo hard?!?

I think it’s brain training instead of finger.
both, sometimes the brain knows what to do but the fingers won’t move. it’s like yoga or gym, you know what you need to do but your body won’t let you
Tough exercise as people have different combinations work with brain 🧠 😢
Funny
Mickey Mouse clubhouse?
Even I thought so
