I just bought this game about 2 weeks ago and it took me about 15 hours to learn what you just showed in a few minutes. Too bad my stubborn nature wouldn’t allow me to click on this sooner. Great tutorial.
The in-game tutorial is already great but this video helps to hit home these crucial basic features. I've been playing for a few hours already but it's nice to see this so i make sure I'm playing properly. Thanks Barbedwire, I've been addicted to both CtA and Gates of Hell this week!
When you make a game everything seems obvious to you but for beginners this is not the case. We need basic tutorials that run through everything from the start.
Select the whole platoon, then hover over the supplies and right- click, anything you transfer is distributed among whatever unit you selected. Alternatively, select a group, press x, mouse over and right- click.

After having been swept, it will not explode unless you pick it up and re- use it, by placing it as a regular mine. In that case it will only explode your enemies.

Bought this a few days ago. Held up by work and real life... but now it's the WEEKEND, and this has been a very helpful video to get started.

The crosshair icon that appears on a squad icon means that the unit is suppressed right? If so how does the suppresion mechanic work?

Refueling is usually done with fuel trucks. But jerrycans can be used as well.
