Loved this video! You are hilarious and always make my day! So jealous over your veggie garden. It’s super hot and humid here in Florida now, so the veggies are suffering a bit. Thank you for showing your harvest. 👩🌾❤️
beautiful peppers, there's nothing better than a great pepper to eat on your omelets, sandwiches, eat raw or cooked with anything...I was so happy to see sunflower steve's new van gogh sunflowers!!! wowza,,,they are perfection!! just gorgeous!! love the tomatoes as well (the butt one lol) Beautiful and bountiful harvest!! God bless!
I think I'm 12 in the brain too. I noticed the butt right away. My tomato crop was decimated by blight but I got 6 pints of spaghetti sauce. I love Sunflower Steve's flowers! I got in on the sale early but won't plant till spring. I love harvesting and your patch is fabulous!
My Dad's been growing King of the North peppers two years in a row now and wow are they incredible!!! The plants are huge, extremely prolific, and extremely delicious! We love them, they've become a garden staple! Very easy to save seeds from too! ;) California Wonder is another one we grow too! :) Great stuff! Glad you're enjoying them!
Fuzzy caterpillar reaction? Apply Common lawn Plantain leaf as is (you can chew it too, but that's a little icky) and it may help. Works on stinging nettle, bug bites...and more (!) Might work for the catepillars too... I'm not spelling that well tonight...or correctly
Beautiful veg and sunflowers. My no dig guru Charles Dowding also mentioned Joe Gardener, said picking them green lets the plant put more energy into the plant instead of ripening tomatoes. I see veg for sale at Flower Hill Nursery.
I love your videos I started coming here for the flowers but as a veggie lover I am so pleased to see some veggie content as well! Can’t wait for the nursery Reno content as well. Keep up the great work!
Exciting Sun Flowers!! You have a wonderful Veggie Garden! Tomato Sammies Mmmmm! I really just want to drive your 4 Wheeler all around your yard. Zooooom-----------------------------------
Made stuffed peppers with my first pepper harvest including tomato sauce from my own tomatoes! One of our favorite dishes! I will look for Long Hot and King of the North seeds for next years garden.
Hello Miss Nicole ! I’m sure you get all sorts of recommendations for different varieties of flowers and vegetables… so here’s one more 😆 Like you I enjoy bell peppers and over the years I’ve tried at least 25 different varieties. I garden in WI zone 4b and two peppers which produce huge thick walled peppers are “Revolution” and “King Arthur”. They ripen from green to red and are great for making stuffed peppers. You can get them from Johnny’s and Seedway. Good Luck with your new project !
If the zuchinni gets too big, I deseed it and either marinate & grill it or make Katherine Hepburn's zuchinni soup recipe ( I'm vegan, so i have to modify it but it is still delicious!)
I’ve been making stuffed pepper casserole and I personally enjoy that much more than stuffed peppers themselves. Much less stress with prep in my opinion
I love your veggie garden jungle! Earlier tonight I sliced up a few yellow summer squash and friend them in butter with garlic and onions and sprinkled them with steak seasoning. SO yummy! And I don’t even really like summer squash.
I can't wait. My 1st Steve about to open. Ty tips on his seeds. I was behind due to construction but I am waiting for the beauty. Awesome harvest I am almost to my tomato sandwich.
Oh man!!! What a great harvest!!!! I lost ALL my Sunflower Steve sunflowers (100 of them) to a groundhog family. I was pretty crushed. They also dined on my zinnias and 450 dahlia plants. But I was most sad about my Sunflower Steve Sunflowers. Every last one of them was destroyed. Yours are so cool!!! How fun!!!! Also, Im a bit jealous your peppers are ready for picking. Mine are all SOOOO SLOW this season. How awesome that you can sell your extra produce at your new nursery and the market!!!
What an awesome harvest! I tried King of the North many years ago and it didn't do that well for me at all....but you've inspired me to give it another go next year. Thanks! 🙂
For Heaven's sake, lady, how do you manage to get everywhere, how many Nicoles are there?😂 My favourite summer meal is fried peppers and egg plants, layered lasagna style: peppers, some marinara sauce, chopped garlic and parsley, than egg plant the same way and so on... With a slice of feta or similar cheese.. a perfect meal! The best thing is it can be frozen in small boxes so you can have it in the winter as well!
I harvest tomatoes very similar to this...definitely to prevent all that you stated. Lay them on their shoulders in a box with newspaper. They ripen lovely. Haha, a plumber tomato😜🤣
Plant tags seem to be like socks in the washing machine for me - I know I had them at the beginning of the process but when I need them I cannot find them for love nor money! Most of my cucumbers seem to be ‘green’ or ‘yellow’ even though I know that as seeds they had more character…
I just remembered that my grandmother used to say to me to be careful around cucumber plants and not step on them, because they don't like it and then they produce bitter cucumbers!
Do you know where sun flower Steve is located in Wisconsin? I would love to do a drive by when we visit friends in September. I love to see fields of sunflowers in bloom. I didn’t get any planted this year but I’m making plans for an area in my small garden to show case them next spring. 🌸💚🙃
Great video! After years of saying vine ripened is the only way I now try to get them at the first blush stage. The science says that soon after color appears the plant seals the fruit off and it just hangs around - kinda like a lazy teen 🙂🖖
We have had such a cold and rainy spring that everything in my garden is so late! I just harvested our broccoli today. I cannot grow a pepper to save my life and I can't figure out why! 🤔
Share your Italian sauce please. I have San Marzano's too! Love the video...It's vege a plenty time now...I have a lot of tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers and 1st time growing shishito peppers. Potatoes are starting to flower and patiently waiting for my dahlias (1st time growing).
S.F.S's merch. Sorry to critique it, but the image is not easily seen on top of that lovely butter creamy yellow. Maybe the color on my phone is distorting it, or Nichol's camera, NAH! Probably not Nichol's camera, I think she has pro equipment. Factor, sunlight in too. Not sure if it's bright out or overcast. Anyway, I cannot see the sunflower in the center, literally, I am assuming there is one there, it's empty space. I cannot trust my phone right now, hope it's just my low rent equipment. Edit- I forgot to say, love S.F.S's sunflowers, absolutely. I have started harvesting my tomatoes not completely ripe, I have so many cherry. Even some that are just beginning to show some color.
I wish I didn't have to worry about snakes where we live, and walk through my garden like you do. Beautiful sunflowers!!
I need sunflower Steve merch!!.. love sunflowers and all the produce..and jealous of you wearing a sweatshirt!
Loved this video! You are hilarious and always make my day! So jealous over your veggie garden. It’s super hot and humid here in Florida now, so the veggies are suffering a bit. Thank you for showing your harvest. 👩🌾❤️
I love seeing your veggies!!! You should make more videos showing your vegetable garden.
You are so pretty and your veggies so healthy great harvest
Cherry peppers remind me of ur grampa filling peppers, eating half🤣😁soooo adorable 🤗🤗🤗

Those tomatoes look wonderful. Yum!
Wow, really wow. We don't have that kind of sunflower here in the Philippines. I like your style of gardening. You have ample of space

Wow, what a good veggie haul. Makes me want to make stuffed bell peppers now. Gorgeous sunflowers 🌻
Love the bloopers!
I wish we could buy Steve’s sunflowers in Europe!

I’ve been harvesting my tomatoes when they just start to color up. I put them in a basket and bring them inside. It’s been working great!
Great harvest.
Those still pictures of the harvest at the end were gorgeous 😍
Beautiful veg and sunflowers. My no dig guru Charles Dowding also mentioned Joe Gardener, said picking them green lets the plant put more energy into the plant instead of ripening tomatoes. I see veg for sale at Flower Hill Nursery.
I love them! Mine are smaller too as I planted them close. I love sunflower Steve’s sunflowers!

I’m so glad I started following you. You absolutely crack me up and uplift my day!
I hope your neighbors lock their cars cause that's enough Zucchini to start sneaking them in their vehicles 😆 🤣 😂
Fun In the veggie garden with Nicole! I think you need a wagon you can pull around when harvesting, Nicole.
hahaha the wagon is currently full of flowers LOL

great to know others snack while harvesting...if I take care of them then I get first dibs!
I can't wait. My 1st Steve about to open. Ty tips on his seeds. I was behind due to construction but I am waiting for the beauty.
Awesome harvest I am almost to my tomato sandwich.
Those sunflowers are gorgeous 😍 hopefully that variety will make their way to Australia, I’d love to be able to grow them.
such a pretty harvest!
Wow that that pepper plant is showing off.
Right! 🫑

Such abundance!
I harvest tomatoes very similar to this...definitely to prevent all that you stated. Lay them on their shoulders in a box with newspaper. They ripen lovely. Haha, a plumber tomato😜🤣
"Harvest on the table" made me laugh harder than the tomato butt and I don't understand why.
Thanks for sharing Sunflower Steve’s blooms. They are gorgeous! Are they sterile or will they self seed if left alone? Thanks!
Plant tags seem to be like socks in the washing machine for me - I know I had them at the beginning of the process but when I need them I cannot find them for love nor money! Most of my cucumbers seem to be ‘green’ or ‘yellow’ even though I know that as seeds they had more character…

Hi Nicole, nice harvest! Ever thought about growing "Long trailing" zucchini ? They are great climbers and produce a lot.
I am trying Joe Lamp'l's pick it early too.
You should try Jess’s ( Roots & Refuge ) brown butter tomato sandwich. It’s a total game changer.
Great video! After years of saying vine ripened is the only way I now try to get them at the first blush stage. The science says that soon after color appears the plant seals the fruit off and it just hangs around - kinda like a lazy teen 🙂🖖
Yes! I’m trying to grab them early as well 🍅
good info !
Beautiful 🤩
Wow🌻🌼
Stuffed pepper soup is another way around not having the flat bottoms
YUM!
I love your intro song ❤️
I have a landscape rock that looks like your special tomato
It is in our front yard special feature facing the road and I have named it 'kiss my a$$'
Hahahah
We have had such a cold and rainy spring that everything in my garden is so late! I just harvested our broccoli today. I cannot grow a
pepper to save my life and I can't figure out why! 🤔
Share your recipe for stuffed peppers in a video could be fun
I will!
What a gorgeous harvest! Summer gardens are non existent in south texas, so I'm looking forward to the fall garden. So many things to grow!
Your yellow squash are beautiful! What variety are they with that stripped color??
Goldmine
Hey Nicole 👋.
Question?? Watching on my phone so can't zoom much. But is the hat you are wearing part of your merchandise???
It's really cute.
It's Sunflower Steve's logo! He will be selling the hats soon, I'll keep you all posted!
Can I ask what garden shoes you're wearing? Fun video!
These are low bogs 👍
First today 🤣🤣🌸xx Cathi xx
Lush ish ❤️💚❤️
OMG!
What's the name of the sunflower variety you show in the beginning?
Our Nadapeno's tastes like a regular lunchbox green pepper. Did I pick it too early?
I think they're supposed to be pretty mild tasting. I haven't harvested one yet!
My tomatoes are not setting near as well with temp swings and none near even pink zone 5b. So want BLT!
Do you stuff the peppers then freeze them?
Yes!
Do you still have your tulips and daffodils available
Sorry, the tulip sale closed a couple days ago! I have not offered daffodils but that might be in the near future
Actually, when you switched microphones, I could hear you clearer!
I are amazing
What a pretty lil face.
This was on my home page. So out of right lane from what I normally watch. Think I'll stay a bit.
Welcome 👋

He has multiple hat colors. It is just the yellow on yellow
