This quote in the beginning using the N-word is really haunting us. We really hated our label guys for boasting with it back then and ever since. It's just nothing a white person should use ever. Sorry for that guys, it wasn't us. It was another issue we had fights with the label about.

With us guys diggin' heavily into Last Poets, James Baldwin, PE, Gil Scott Heron, Amiri Baraka, Sir Joe, BDP etc. it was plainly infuriating. The quote actually comes from Roger Troutman, which our label guys played our music to while the wanted to convince him to release some of his older stuff (the Human Body) on their label. The stupid twits weren't aware of anything, so the f***ers included it in their promo.🤦‍♂🤦🤦‍♀
