Model shown is an ECE/DE-model. All 120 colours and the sound design are available from 03/2022.
Power consumption (WLTP) combined in kWh/100 km: 22.5 - 18.0.
CO2 Emissions (WLTP) combined in g/km: 0.
Electric Range (WLTP) in km: 416 - 521.
Power: 400 kW, 544 hp, 795 Nm, Acceleration (0-100 km/h): 3.9 s, Top speed (limited): 225 km/h.
Paint finish shown: BMW Individual Special Paint Frozen Portimao Blue.
Official data on power consumption and electric range were determined in accordance with the mandatory measurement procedure and comply with Regulation (EU) 715/2007 valid at the time of type approval. In case of a range, figures in the WLTP take into account any optional equipment. For newly type-tested vehicles since 01.01.2021, the official data no longer exist according to NEDC, but only according to WLTP. The i4M50 looks great. But I’ve been informed only small to medium persons fit into the driver’s seat. Is that true?

The Autobild guy is 1.95 Meters and reports, that his head hits the roof liner, when he is sitting upright. 🤕 🤷♂️
@@avigator thanks for the video, didn’t see it yet. I sat in an i4 40 and it was okay for me. But apparently you can’t be too much taller than I am. ;-)
As a BMW owner, I am very proud of the M50, which has a sophisticated and beautiful 4-door coupe body and a horsepower that exceeds the M4, and was able to complete it as a pure EV car.
The only question we ask ourselves : does it drift?

Aside from the grill, this new EV is awesome! Love the sounds it makes.
Not a fan of fake sound. So cheesy. Just let an electric have the sound the motors make. Don’t waste resources for some speaker system that makes it more expensive for nothing.

At the first time many of you will say it's lame, but when every manufacturer are doing it, then it will become normal and they will compete to deliver the best sounds and people will like it.

Just a little difference in engines. 40i has around 370hp and 50i has 544 so its not m440i. It is not IM4 cuz it's still a civilian car!

M package and M power are two different things. As the person above mentioned, it's been a thing for a while. Could be an appearance package to suspension/wheels package. To a slight bump in power. As where M Power cars get a full overhaul!

You can not produce electricity while driving (accelerating). This would be a "perpetuum mobile" and even if you could do that, every car brand would built cars this way.
It's simply not possible.

You can charge it over night. At most it shouldn't take more than 20 mins to get a good amount of charge. You should never run out of power to begin with.
