Hello just bought a new to me 1981 West Wight Potter. I have a 4 hp 4 stroke outboard I want to use. What outboard bracket did you buy to handle a four stroke weight? Thanks.
Hi, I have a nissan 4hp 4 stroke motor. These motors weigh almost 60 lbs. You don't have any issues with that much weight on the transom? I always heard not put put anything more then a 3.5hp motor since they weigh only 41 lbs. I would like your opinion on this please. Thanks.

My Potter already had a outboard bracket on it. So I am not sure. Sorry.

Mine worked fine but that much weight prevents from plaining.
