Don't let this distract you from the the fact that in 1966, Al Bundy scored four touchdowns in a single game while playing for the Polk High School Panthers in the 1966 city championship game versus Andrew Johnson High School, including the game-winning touchdown in the final seconds against his old nemesis, "Spare Tire" Dixon.
The entire narrative was a blast. Highschool football hero to lowely shoe salesman, even at his age, and a crazy family and just as crazy neighbors. The poor shoe salesman that worked at a store that only overweight women seemed to shop at. Nothing ever worked for the guy.
I thought I heard that the large ladies actually came up with some of the jokes because they were the ones who would know And yes, they enjoyed the paychecks, alot of them were repeats on the show 😊
Great reaction. Like you said, it was a different time. And how I miss those times. Long live King Al Bundy, to play Ed O' Neill, the most brutal and funny character in TV history!
I wasn’t sure if that was one of the ladies from Hee Haw! Wasn’t sure if it was Mimi though!! They should also watch a funniest moments from Drew Carey show too!
@@andreagarcia2176 "I'll See You In Court." It was due to air right after "Her Cups Runneth Over," but due to that episode's "controversy, the "Court" episode wasn't aired until 2002.
This was an era of fat jokes and Yo Mamma jokes. We didn’t have social media where millions of people aired out their insecurities. These were in the crew jokes. TV is where it went out to the masses but it wasn’t until the internet when the offended got their voice. 90s was the golden era! Kill or be killed! Live by the gun, die by the gun! Now people are being slayed by social media. Live and let live! I’m drunk by the way! 😂 Al Bundy is king!
This compilation was missing the top 10 ways to make the neighbor lady Marcy look more attractive but still you cut it off early Al Bundy's makes a couple comments at the end
I miss the days when we didn't have to pretend that morbid obesity was an admirable quality and acknowledged it for what it really is...a dangerous addiction that is no more admirable than cigs, alcohol, or drugs.
This show, "Married with Children", was one of the 1st shows that ran on the FOX Network when FOX was just starting out ... it was so popular, it won multiple Emmy awards and was in the Top 10 ratings for the 11yrs it was on TV, it shot FOX Network to one of the TOP New networks in the late '80s. Unfortunately, in today's "SNOWFLAKE" society, (as Clint Eastwood calls it), everyone is too serious and offended about EVERYTHING for a show like this to be on Now. - Sad
Y'all need to see Blazing Saddles. You wanna talk about a movie that would never survive in todays day and age. It's the most insensitive comedy of all time.
I grew up on this show and it's one of my favorites...Al Bundy is no different than Archie Bunker or Fred Sanford 😅 back when people had a sense of humor 😂

The "Larger Ladies" on the show not only werent insulted they found the humor funny and liked the paychecks as well.
You can see a lot of them are trying to hold in their laughter when he insults them too.
They were comedians who actually helped write the jokes
Most of them were comedians themselves, and even helped write the fat jokes and took it all in total stride.

Married With Children was my childhood. And the funniest thing is Ed O Neil (Al Bundy actor) is one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet.
Lol
I think it's easier to be nice when you have a job that gets all the nasty out of your system
@@rosefriday4287 I suggest you watch Dutch if want to see Ed I Neil him in Serious role.
@@sicily7220 He also had a serious role in The West Wing.
Yeah, nice... Until you meet him in the ring! He is a black belt bad-ass from way back.
Knowing Amanda Bearse HATED Ed in real life makes his insults10x funnier. 😂😂😂
Need to learn how to deal with a Karen, contact Al Bundy 🤣🤣
Amen Brother!
Who is also a black belt in Judo!
Back when people could take a joke. This show would’ve never made to today’s world
Agree 100%
Today's world is full of kitty cats
@@Allelujah19 yep
i agree...its too PC now...fuck people with no sense of humor
Everything has to be politically correct nowadays
Ed O'neill aka Al Bundy has a birthday tomorrow as he will be 75. A True Legend!
The best show to never win an Emmy.
and yet Family Guy gets all the praise e.e
They made fun of that in one of the episodes at the end credits.. They were nominated but never won.
Ed O Neil is the nicest guy irl but he’s also a Brazilian Jujitsu Master so he really could mess you up.
There was someone who was being an ass and threatening people on the set of a movie or show he was on. Ed actually choked him out.
You two crackin me up.I used to watch this.😆When i was a Kid it A-Team.Them old shows are cool
This in living color and mad tv were some of my favorites.
I loved this show as a kid and teenager. I used to have a crush on Peggy back in the day 😂
Al Bundy was my English teacher when I came to the US in 1990 --- and i still watch it...and even on youtube... Al Bundy is my best friend.
Great reaction. Like you said, it was a different time. And how I miss those times. Long live King Al Bundy, to play Ed O' Neill, the most brutal and funny character in TV history!
I will always love this show. I miss humor like this.
One of my favorite sitcoms. The AL and Marcy wars were the best!
5:10 Someone MUST say that to Nancy Pelosi in Congress xD
This show was great before they censored TV. I always looked forward to watching this every week
"I need shoes!" "Okay, there's a blacksmith right up the street..."
Those women must have been paid a boat load to put up with these lines. 😂.
Most of them wrote the jokes themselves.
The original name for this show was "Not the Cosby's"
Mornings before school were for boy meets world and saved by the bell.
Perhaps unseen, but the Hagen Dass joke is the actress that plays Mimi on the Drew Carrey show many years later
I wasn’t sure if that was one of the ladies from Hee Haw! Wasn’t sure if it was Mimi though!! They should also watch a funniest moments from Drew Carey show too!
This show began when I was 5, but started watching in the 90s up til it ended. Still love it. ❤
I liked it but never really watched it religiously! I do remember the episode where Anthrax crashed the Bundy’s house!! That episode was just killer!!
My man calls me Peggy 😭🤣 and he's literally Al. My daughters turning into kelly bundy so please send prayers 🤣🤣🤣
The funny thing is his wife Peg and Marcy gave it right back to him lol.
Funniest thing to me is that Amanda Bearse hated Ed IRL. She took the insults personally😂😂😂
@clevelandcbi Yeah lol. They hated each other.
You talked about when you watched this I watched it on Sunday Night on FOX after The Simpsons, now thats old lol
Got every single Marrie With Children episode on dvd and yes it includes that infamous missing episode from season 3
Missing episode?? Oh I'm curious now
@@andreagarcia2176 "I'll See You In Court." It was due to air right after "Her Cups Runneth Over," but due to that episode's "controversy, the "Court" episode wasn't aired until 2002.
I have season 3!! I thought the missing episode was when Al and Peg went to their high school reunion and Al and a guy had a fight! Great episode!
I would love to back to these days when the world wasn't so damn soft
It used to comeout at 9pm ny
I use to watch this all the time it's one of my favorite shows
1-2-3-4 You're gonna fall through the floor 😂😂😂😂

All Hail Al Bundy, The King Of Shade!!!
Y’all missed the ending he was going to talk when the picture was showing
This compilation was missing the top 10 ways to make the neighbor lady Marcy look more attractive but still you cut it off early Al Bundy's makes a couple comments at the end
This show was the best!! Al gave NF
Al was the King!
I'd watch Boy Meets World & Married With Children, but when I was getting ready for school my go-to was Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Nowerdays there will be bip bip bip each time Al opens his mouth...it was a great show.
Great show. Three's Company, The Jeffersons, Cheers, Home Improvement, Martin, In Living Color were some other 80s/90s sitcoms I remember watching.
The Jeffersons and Three’s Company were from the 70’s but lasted a few years into the 80’s.
I remember when these was new. 😂😂😂
you guys aren't old enough to remember that show
I miss the days when we didn't have to pretend that morbid obesity was an admirable quality and acknowledged it for what it really is...a dangerous addiction that is no more admirable than cigs, alcohol, or drugs.

Stop spreading these rumors. This show NEVER won an Emmy and you know it.
Dude, This show never won an Emmy. I am a huge fan of this show and I know everything about it. Do your research.
You never really know how it could be received nowadays unless someone really tried to resurrect it! I’d definitely watch it
