Just picked up this laptop. Came with a 3070 Ti, 300hz FHD screen, 1TB, and 16GB DDR5 RAM.. Would have preferred the QHD screen but wasn't available; also no webcam bundle. But so far, LOVE IT!
@@norbertsusztek1316 so I keep it on a cooling stand most of the time. But when my son games on it, he removes it from the stand and it has had no issues staying cool. The fans are relatively quiet and even under load, they blow out of the back so you don’t hear it much from sitting in front of the laptop.
Yeah Rtx 3060 will be enough for the next 4-5 years imo. I know because I bought my Predator with gtx 1060 in 2017 , since then , til now , it has served me very well at high settings on almost every game. Even the current latest games run very well. But i ll soon be upgrading to a new one once i get a better paying job 🤤
I have the standard ROG Strix G17, and its a great laptop tbh. Its a 3050 model so not as powerful as this model, but it's a very good gaming laptop nonetheless
g15 here with gtx 1650 + r7 4800h, it runs hot on chrome and 5 hour battery on chrome, netherless i love it, 68k price. also please no one comment me that i could have got rtx 2070 at this price, thats bullsh1t, i still couldnt find it and asus tuf was 3050 at 70k but this one is more premium and good looking
@@RaghavMore There IS a 3060 model of Asus TUF Dash F15, but it has a 4 core CPU so I didn't go for it even tho its the same price. The Strix series is just a premium series so the quality is great, especially the trackpad and keyboard. Mine is R7 4800H and RTX 3050(95w) and mine stays cool, maxes out at 66-70°C max even after playing GTA or Apex for hours. I also played Forza for 6 hours and the temps never breached 70°C. Are your fans at turbo?

My cousin brother has Asus Rog Strix 15(2020) laptop, price (80k ₹) but the speakers are very low, not able to listen the sound even on full volume, battery life is extremely low, takes 1 hr 30 mins to charge, 1 hr 45 mins to discharge, the performance is good but not happy with heating issue. These 3 are the major issue in this laptop, even i am having other 5 year old Lenovo Ideapad 305, i5 5th gen laptop, but battery last 4 hour, very rare heating issue and Dolby sound. I hope Asus resolves the issue in midrange ROG laptops from 70k to 100k ₹ range.

I have ASUS STRIX G15 (2022) | RTX 3060 (140w). But I have observed that even through it has a Gen 4 SSD, the read and write speed are that of a Gen 3. Is it something related to a BIOS setting or any contradiction with the AMD as I have not heard this happen with Intel 12th gens. Any input would be appreciated. @beebom

I've bought G15 2day's before, But sadly it has white patch on the bottom. At first I thought it was screen bleed but it was white patch verified by grader. I've initiated replacement, Hope the next replaced unit will be fine.
I've researched online everyone said Screen bleed is a common thing in LED Panel Even tho I've got used to screen bleed on my laptop sometimes it's kind of disturbing when any black screen appears. In Performance Scar strix was really a Beast. Zephyrus is 14 inch laptop! For gaming I'd prefer bigger screen laptop. If u don't have any problem with screen size u can go for 14 inch zephyrus otherwise u can go for 15 or 17 Inch ROG.
After hearing i9 i thought it's going to be 2 lakh or more. But after hearing the graphics i am dam sure it's more than 4 to 5 lakh . Just like the Asus motherboard
@@phillipchomk it's because of immense heat they produce, just check on other websites where they show laptop cpu and gpu temps while playing games, most of them touch 90 C(cpu). I had asus laptop with 960m since last 4 years, started to loose performance just 2 years into it. Changed thermal paste, but still things inproved but only mildly. Also there's no upgrade path in laptop, mind you upgrading 16gb to 32gb ram or upgrading SSD won't give you any significant performance boost.
@@siddharth846 How about external cooling pad? I have read ofc on the internet a lot before i bought my gaming laptop but so far i can tell that the cooling pads save the performance life by 50%.
@@phillipchomk Not really. Thermal pads reduces temps only by 4 to 5 degree C. But it definitely helps to bring down the temp faster after you stop playing games.

Honestly its very expensive. But Gaming Laptops are worth it. But i would recommend going for a Rtx 3060 model if you into hard core gaming , it will run you great for the next 4-5 years with ease at 1080p high settings 60fps . And if your aim is just online Gaming like Siege, Cs , etc , then you dont need this much power , even 3050ti or the cheaper models like 1600Series or 2000 series will also serve you well.
