- Death adders are incredible snakes. They are built like a typical viper with a heavy body, large triangular head, and moveable fangs. A typical viper in Australia. But Australia doesn't have any vipers. Is the death adder not a viper? Clint travels down under to the Australian Reptile Park to see these incredible snakes as well as an amazing assortment of other Australian animals in one of the most unforgettable days of his life!

I have seldom seen someone as happy as this man to see every small plant and animal. It's so genuinely heartwarming. HOPEFULLY I'll be able to take my boys to Australia and they will get a fraction of this joy. First time seeing this channel, it's a delight.
I was afraid he would get a sensory overload there haha.
P
He should have his own show on TV but that would be quality programming and we can't have that.
@Dan Quayles ITS SPELT POTATOE! EXACTLY DAN !!!
You don’t have to go all that way to appreciate plants and animals - I found we often overlook and under appreciate what’s right in front of us :)
This dude was my 2020 bio professor and usually my old professors give me awful anxiety but I always felt happy in his class
I'm so happy to hear that!
Same here, except he gave me an F based on my motivation, hardiness, care, and upfront comprehension. But he gave me an A for my availability. Which still didn't help. I'll be back next semester, and most likely the next too. I love failing this class.
I also liked his class, he always reminds me of pleekli from lilo and stitch
@@itsyourenotyour9101 I had a very genuine and hearty laugh at that, thanks!
What does he teach specifically?
As an Aussie it’s actually rather delightful seeing how excited someone is over some of our animals that are so common for us. So glad you enjoyed your visit here.
(For anyone wondering those Emu’s were young they get a lot bigger)
I wanted him to bump into a Cassowary! (In a good way)
Hey clint. I want to thank you. I've been having a rough go of things lately due to family loss and a bunch of other stuff. Your enthusiasm and good nature has been supporting me.
And now we have koalas first thing in the morning!! I smiled for the first time in a while so thank you.
I'm so glad we can help you feel a little better during this difficult time.

The look of astonishment and wonder on Clint's face brings tears to my eyes. He's like the worlds tallest and cutest 5 year old.

He 1000% deserves it. I think all he needs is one video that the algorithm loves because, from what I’ve seen, anyone that watches 5 minutes of his videos gets hooked. Just one video that tons of people see, then this channel will get the subscribers and recognition it deserves!
It'll happen.
A bit of a late response but he helped me lol, he convinced me to get a leopard gecko, doing great so far
Please, if it's feasible, make this kind of thing a series. Where you go to different places and highlight the animals and locations. The Zoos need help.
especially with PETA trying to destroy them...
@@jonathandefoy6376 Theres absolutely some problems with zoos but destroying zoos like PETA wants to do only hurts endangered fauna. It also significantly slows research that can be used to help future populations. That being said, zoos do definitely need stricter guidelines placed on them because they are very easy to exploit.
i would like such a series too but i would like them to be titled properly and not by a small section of the video
@@Megamadbat cry about it
Clint saying "No big deal", while we know fully well that he finds it a VERY big deal.
I wish I loved anything as much as Clint loves animals. The passion is just so palpable.
I cant wait for the day we see the Irwins & Clint in the same video
man as an australian some times I think I take australian wildlife for granted
Same hear in the states.
You probably do, But that’s normal. As long as you take a step back and soak it in once in a while, you’re good. Australia is a beautiful place!
People everywhere take their wildlife for granted I’m afraid. Here in the United States we removed quite a few species only to realize they were really important (duh) and have had to work tirelessly to replace them.
I was saying this the other day, I lived in London for a year but saw zero of London’s landmarks that all the tourists go to see. Not animal related but still when you are somewhere you don’t appreciate what you have around you until you leave.
I’m the same way with Florida. I never notice it until I watch videos of people going to Florida for the _sole_ purpose of going herping here
This video triggered so many lovely memories from my 2 years living down under. I miss Australia every day but it was so lovely seeing someone else geek out about every single animal and plant 🥰
The title should 100% be "Cuddling Kangaroos With Clint!"
Cause alliteration is amazingly awesome, amigos!!!
That was one of the best parts of the whole day!
Clint: kangaroos can’t move their rear legs independently.
Kangaroo: proceeds to scratch like a dog, thus moving its rear leg independently.
Me: smartass kangaroo...
Petition to get Clint to the Amazon.
Signed.
For only a dollar a day we can get clint to the amazon.
Sounds...amazing:)
I would love that!
Heck yeah
Believe it or not the death adder is recommended as a beginner venomous snake here in Australia
Of course, the rest are much faster. Australia be crazy!

As someone who is infatuated with animals, watching this video kept a smile on my face the entire time! I think Clint’s enthusiasm is contagious.
The Retile Park is one of my favourite places the Greater Sydney area has to offer. Thank you for sharing it Clint!
You ever just see somebody so happy, that you can’t help but smile as they go about doing what they love? That’s me watching Clint in this video. Great video, love to see more like these
Absolutely MIND BLOWING that you can just.... pet so many animals at this zoo! I love how chill everything is.
This is the best channel. Clint and crew are so wholesome and lovely. I've learned so much, so many things I never thought about or considered. 🥰
I used to go to the San Diego zoo every day before I had to move away. But I was giddy like you every single time! It’s great to see someone who geeks out over animals like me! I’m glad I’m not alone! Keep being you Clint!
That frilled dragon statue at the start was the coolest Concrete-tile I've ever seen.
Hello drew
Honestly I loved this style of video. Clint just giving off random facts on animals and seeing how insanely interested and excited he his do talk about. I’m just like that too and it even excites me to learn more. I loved loved loved this video
I am a biologist and this reptile park is my favorite zoo in Australia. They love the animals so much and give so much care and attention to all their animals but especially reptiles and amphibians that might not get as much of a spotlight elsewhere. I've been multiple times and I love hearing about how much care and thought they put into the enrichment and social needs of their reptiles - like what kind of things their komodo likes to play with, and how their tortoises do really enjoy social contact with their humans....I did a behind the scenes tour for my birthday one year and got to meet their tegu and oh my gosh they really are just lizard puppies I love them. The whole place is full of love and joy and it just makes me so happy. It is one of my favorite places to visit ever. I am so glad you got to go, and I am delighted that you had such a good time! More people should know about this little patch of paradise ^_^
This is definitely one of my favorite Clint's Reptiles videos of all time! 11/10. Amazing animals, fantastic experience all around. I love seeing Clint get so genuinely excited
Your enthusiasm for the animals and the hobby, as well as the great information and care videos, is what keeps me coming back. You are a bright, entertaining light in what has been a dark, tiring year. Thank you.
Clint went to the Australian Reptile Zoo and didn't find Tim Faulkner. They need to get together.
I do now follow him on Instagram.
Clint, I cannot tell you enough.. How energizing and lifting you are. You have so much knowledge. And so much clear passion for every animal. And even know about the plants too. I can't even fathom how long it took you to learn all you know - but you've got something magical. I can (and do) watch for hours while I work from home. Just so incredibly riveting how you deliver your knowledge and share with all that excitement. Definitely that Steve Irwin Spirit. Instant sub to Coop as well. Just the wholesome community is something you've got going on, and I hope you never lose it.
This is the most amazing video yet on this channel! I’m so glad you got to spend a day at the Australian Reptile Park because we got to as well even if it was only vicariously through video!
This video is incredible my friend! Can’t wait to see more like this in the future!
I'd love to make more like it!
It's amazing how long and thin the scales on that kangaroo are. And the scale count is just unbelievable!
Almost 17 minutes of Clint joy made me smile the whole time. I'll remember to watch it again whenever I'm having a rough day.
Thanks so much for being so respectful towards our wonderful animals in Australia Clint. & I echo another comment about how truly heartwarming it us watching you smile at Nature. Awesome video mate & thanks again
We're back in lockdown in the UK, so I am going to need Clint's reptiles' videos to see me through again!
Sorry to hear that, but I'm glad we can fill it with reptiles for you!
Clint, glad you were so excited about the wildlife in Australia. One correction needs to be made that is related to a very common mistake (see at about 11:30 in video). There are actually several species of placental mammals that are native to Australia. All of the megabat species (flying foxes) are placental mammals. They are natives. The grey-headed flying fox is very common in Sydney, and can be seen flying every night of the year. It is common to have them burst out of a tree along a walkway at night as one passes. They love figs, which are also and abundant tree in Sydney.

Thank you Clint. As an Aussie living about an hour north of the Reptile Park it warms my heart to see an American get such a blast from animals and birds that we tend to take for granted. Unfortunately, animals such as the Koala are under pressure in places due to habitat loss caused by housing developments. Only recently discovered your Venomous snakes as pets evaluations on UA-cam but have enjoyed everyone I have seen. Keep up the good work!
I was delighted to take this trip with you! Your enthusiasm is contagious, even over the internet. I agree, Australia is full of wonderful creatures - but then, so is America. Actually, the whole world.

that galapagos turtle startled me. didn't cross my mind that it could make that noise.
The JP/W Raptoresque hiss and me jump to
clint what did the kangaroo feel like ? koalas are so cute!
Kangaroos are extremely soft furred, it’s relatively short fur, and kind of sticks up instead of laying flat, you might they’d feel bristly or a bit rough, but they’re not at all. Probably only of the best petting experiences you could have.
I am lucky, I live in Australia, not all that far from a city and I regularly have kangaroos come into my yard, they’re easily frightened, but occasionally a couple will stick around for pats, they just love being patted, they just need to over come their fear of you enough.
I would love to see more videos of you traveling to different places! Clint casually throwing out technical fern names like it's no big thing is such a MOOD.
Watching this video has just made me happy. Thank You ! I wish we all had Clint's admiration and affection for this world. It would solve so many of our current crisis'.

I wish America was like Australia and be safe from COVID
This was also filmed in 2019 before the world collapsed.
Australia having a decent health system has really helped, that and we were sensible about our response to sound medical advice sees us barely having a single case per day, we get a small outbreak of virus in a community with maybe 6 infections and it really makes the news.
Australia really is very different to the US, something every Australian is glad of.
@@ClintsReptiles That makes sense. I was wondering how you would have been allowed into the country

Love the vid Clint!!! It has been nice to see such genuinely passionate and enthusiastic faces. It's spiritually uplifting. It would be very helpful to know that this was filmed pre covid though. I was worried before noticing the comments about it.

While you're in australia, do you still think that the thylacine is extinct, or could they still be alive?
Sadly, they’re gone. I wish we still had the them, I have a friend who has gone out with trail cams in hundreds of locations, reviewed hundreds of thousands of hours of footage, none to be seen. Extinction is a bitch.
