And if you watch Monty Python and the Holy Grail, you'll find that knowing a lot about birds is a very important skill for a king to have. For anybody who wants to really play this game, here's a few tips. Start with a road from your castle towards a stone supply. Not too long because you're short on wood. Chop a buncha wood and while doing that build about 3 to 6 hovels. Chop a lot of wood because you want to get your road just close enough to the stone to build a quarry. While that's happening, place just a few farms somewhere (like 3). You don't want ALL your villagers farming, just a few for now. Farming should be top of list - you want them to be constantly farmed. Once your quarries start producing stone you want to build a Treasure Room to get money. Keep tax collectors maxed, because you'll want to make enough stone and money to build a Dock AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. I call the Merchants that come to trade at the Dock "my ATM machine" because it will be your main source of cash. Selling excess resources at the dock will make you LOTS of money! Pretty soon you'll have so much muns that you'll be able to fire your tax collectors and set taxes to zero. This makes villagers HAPPY! Be careful not to sell more resources than $1000 because, with only one treasure room, anything sold over $1000 is lost. Build another treasure room to be able to make $2000. More treasure rooms, more muns $$$. Keep building houses (hovels & cabins) to keep up with the influx of people joining your kingdom. Now that you have a good start, go nuts.
