The CZ was too blatantly overpowered upon introduction, but they should've not nerfed it to the ground as far as they did up to today's CZ. At least, increase the damage back to its former figures. A full-auto glass cannon with exceptionally small total ammo count is a really interesting dynamic to play with.
Best secondary ever made for awp, they even not nerfed the awp , but they nerfed its secondary nowdays aswell which were deagle in CS:S and cs1.6 .... and cz-75 in CSGO...

And slightly varying prices are fine nowadays, but it's not fine to have prices which would push the gun into a different category/competition. A m4a4 can never be as expensive as a Aug and a m4a1-s can never be as cheap as the Famas, a Revolver never cheaper than a 5-7, a MP5 never cheaper than a Bizon. You get the point, weapon slot roles and their place in the economy must be consistent. If the CZ was in the 5-7/Tec-9 slot and it would've cost $300 then you'd have two pistols at $300 but only the deagle coming next at $700, therefore screwing up the economics of the buy menu.
I think they should buff the CZ again, there's a lot of different ways you could go with it, give it a faster fire rate and reload speed to make it a quick "pump and dump" type gun that trades sustained effectiveness for high close range lethality, or just give it fast switch speed so it can be a good sniper secondary, scout and cz could be a sleeper pick if the cz was just a tiny bit better

I still run it, you just gotta play it differently like if you would have awp with cz you need to change to cz at some situations as preparation if you know what's coming

As a scout player since 2013 i would say that CZ-75 was like a small AK for me

Basically the go-to pistol in any situation. The fact that you could have it in the place of a P250 and keep the Five-Seven/ Tec-9 was insane.

When you consider that every weapon in CS 1.6 except Scout (1.25) and AWP (1.45) had a 0.7 seconds draw time, a 1.8 seconds draw time is crazy slow.
