I’m starting to get much better results starting with hamstring’s before quads. Also squatting last has been a game changer. Can’t go as heavy but there is so much more stimulation and pump. Nothing like giving your all on those last sets of squats to finish the workout
Well done for still training so hard at almost approaching 50, I'm turning 51 in 6weeks & still pushing as hard as I did at 30 & still loving every workout, miss doing shows sometimes but 15 years of competing was enough for me & it was starting to be too hard on my body toward the end in 2019. Thanks for a great content Mr Jay Cutler. Regards Titanium Mike.
The workout videos are still awesome ,keep them coming .full day of eating would be great since you're getting in best shape at 50 it would be interesting to see what foods get you there .thanks jay for all the great content.
Dave you are Killer videomaker!! awsome music, editing, content! Jay is great - and you realle show that with your skills. Keep up the good work and be yourself as always.
Love your constant reminder to feel the lift... not about weight. I was 5'7" and 260 lbs in my 20s and 30s.. switched to lighter weight and feeling the movement. I was all about the weight, best bench was 505, I have had torn pec and tweaks everywhere. I'm in my 50s now.. dropped to 190-195.. and only lift 8 to 12 range. Your advice change my mindset. I heard constant, you were so my bigger, but I'm healthy and have tweaks ever. Keep up the amazing vids. Huge fan for years!
i just got knee surgery a couple weeks ago and all i’ve been doing is watching jay, i cannot wait to get back to the gym, i’ve learned a good amount during the recovery time, thanks jay!
.... and here I am kicking my own ass. I really appreciate the explanation of why Jay works out like he does. I'm changing my workout routines slightly and using less weight.
I need a funnel Jay! Lol, I train my hamstrings first too for the same reason, and I do a split for one my hamstrings are harder to grow and I get a better feel when I train them that way.
Jays always been my favorite. Idk why, like how he has his own way of doing certain things and doesn’t give a shit what other people say cuz he’s the 4time, and beat Ronnie!!!!
Hey I saw the LA expo video and it’s hard to hear if you said you are going to the Anaheim expo in august. Don’t see you already on the guest list like I do for the San Diego one already. Please let me know Thanks
i have not done squats in 20 yrs i do other leg exercises, squats was more of a how much can you squat type thing. i did squats with proper form after seeing jay do it, 2 plates couple sets and let me tell you that the burn from doing squats is the quads all way deep to the bone.
I was a little hesitant about clicking your video. Glad I did . But training as long as you and I have, I’m 56 and started lifting at 14, I’ve heard a lot of advice. It’s nice to hear your comments about what’s going on in your day to day life but I listen closely when you talk about training or nutrition , especially what’s worked for you and the difference it makes. I’ve never started leg day with hamstrings. I will for the next 6-8 months to see how it goes. Thanks.
Big J, question, you no longer do hack squats, and last question, would you recommend it into a program for a person who’s in their mid to late 40’s? Just to inform you, I still do your leg routine protocol!!’ And I love it. You’re the man, thanks. Great video.
Love watching the GOAT train…… had to wait for FTBB to wake up 🤣🤣🤣. JayTV and Cutler Podcast 🔥🔥🔥. One day Jay needs to turn the 🎥 and film FTBB on one workout session !! JAYWALKING !!!! Hell yeah ✊✊
Great workout, thanks for taking us along and Dave (FTB) you gotta get in a bang along it would be great to see . It’s funny but back in the day I always thought the Max Muscle head was a cartoon picture of Jay , I have so many shirts and tops from then , good memories, thanks again fellas !!! SR.
Jay, your videos are awesome. Cool seeing both what you do and hearing what you have to say. Im in the Chicago area and one of the places I go to just installed some Aresenal Strength machines. I just tried their vertical squat last weekend.
Training smart is key to longevity, it takes years of consistency and eating properly to build your body. I only train full body twice a week these days, that is easily achievable and keeps the consistency. Health is wealth!
Its like you posted just for me lol. Looking for a leg day video from the goat and its published not years ago-but 4 fuckn days ago! Love from east los angeles big homeyyy J
Well, you thought you would stay forever young and strong! You forgot an important and essential thing we are all mortal on this earth and we take nothing with us, my opinion is that walking
What a loyal friend Dave has been. Truly a ride or die kind of gentleman. Jay is lucky to have him.
i sooo agree.
Ah Thanks for that but really, we are lucky to know each other. It works both ways.
@@reverendterminator Thank you.
Dave and Jay work so great together. Dave you do a great job with the videos.

His "twigs" eclipse most people with good legs.....and he doesn't even compete anymore. Pure craziness!
Well done for still training so hard at almost approaching 50, I'm turning 51 in 6weeks & still pushing as hard as I did at 30 & still loving every workout, miss doing shows sometimes but 15 years of competing was enough for me & it was starting to be too hard on my body toward the end in 2019. just that little bit of training motivated me ,txs !
I'm gonna try that tip. I have a hard time feeling those hamstrings but then again I always start with quads on Leg Day. Great Vlog. Ty man

Great video. Dame. Liked this one. Thanks. Jay. And. Dave.
Welcome Simon.
12:35 I’m reading “Run Like a Pro Even If You’re Slow.” Interesting perspective on being about process not goals; tracking time not distance.
Im Glad Jay still looks so good

At 70 years old, I am doing cardio, abs, and weights every day. I'd like more videos on nutrition please.
💪💪
meat, vegetables, fruit, complex carbs, done!
Shut your mouth.
Most people over the age of 60, tend not to eat as much protein as they should?
i just got knee surgery a couple weeks ago and all i’ve been doing is watching jay, i cannot wait to get back to the gym, i’ve learned a good amount during the recovery time, thanks jay!
May God bless you

Still got it champ “” BEST EVER “” 👍💪
Tom Platz leg day was only twice a month yet the quadfather had the biggest legs ever. He absolutely destroyed his legs twice a month.
6:00 me and my brother calls this excercise "The Cutlers", one of our favorite leg movements.
Jay do you think you’ll ever go to the coaching side of things. Could definitely see you coaching a future Mr. O
