Captain America: The Winter Soldier Deleted Scene - Shield Demands Loyalty (2014) - Movie HD
After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, Marvel's "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" finds Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy-the Winter Soldier. - Фільми й анімація
Maria is an underdeveloped character in the MCU. She deserves a TV show of her own or at least more appearances.
She has his TV Show about an undercover agent in NY
@@alfredohumberto2222 I understood that reference
I hope she has a large role in Secret Invasion and gets the treatment other underdeveloped characters have gotten in the Disney+ shows
Soo true
dont worry she will be the new NICK FURY(shield director)
Kids, in 2014, your aunt Robin heleped Captain America to stop HYDRA
That is just gonna follow Cobie her whole career :p
ct0760 Yes, it will. :) I'll always remember him Robin. Maria Hill? Pfttt. Nope! Robin!!
OMG THE FEELS!!! I miss that show!!! why did it have to end
That is the ending in which we do not speak, we only speak of the alternate
I would love a crossover where Robin Scherbatsky is secretly a S.H.I.E.L.D agent
The way he says that, shield demands loyalty "too" just shows that he doesn't understand the difference between inspiring loyalty and demanding loyalty.
Yea like where I when the guys take my and back me, oh is there a problem here ??? Yes poor management
funny how at the same time hes actively disloyal to shield
CalebS1330 you mean loyalty to *cough* hydra *cough*
Makes it sort of funny that his loyalty gets him yanked through a car window and chucked in front of an 18 wheeler. Sure, he's a liability and singing like a canary at this point, but still...
This is the difference between S.H.I.E.L.D. and Hydra.
Sitwell was a level seven agent Maria hill was the assistant director of shield how can he boss her around
Probably that's why they deleted it.
More or less because the director of SHIELD is dead and the chain of command is in ruins.
grant richardet also she knew about the coulson thing and he didnt...
more more or more less ))))
Hill have level 9 in the comics and probably level 9 or 8 in the MCU, Sitwell have only level 5 in the comics and level 6 in the MCU- this is why Hill knew a little more but not everything . Sitwell can give her orders because in case of death of the director the whole procedure starts and it looks Sitwell is in a better position in chain of command in this case. Fury trusted her more- in this case level doesn't have big matter. In the comics there were situations when person with level 5 knew more about some case than person with level 8- it depends largely from the director. Only people with level 10 knows everything but in the comics in whole Shield history there are only 3 characters with level 10- Nick Fury Senior, Daisy Johnson and Natasha Romanoff.
Second person after Fury was Pierce and he trusted more Sitwell so Hill kinda lost her position after "Fury's death", she have the same level but she is less important than she was.
This doesn't Sitwell with him. Anybody? No?? Ok.
Hahaha I get it! Nice, bro. Lol cx
+Carson Key I applaud you
Carson Key Phil Coulson would've been proud.
Carson Key 😂
Carson Key You are a God of puns. I salute you!
Just the irony of that line coming from someone who secretly works for HYDRA is laughable.
@Repo man I wish Agent Coulson had a chance to confront him.
@Repo man Sitwell: We still can be Coulson, you wanna join Hydra? They make great tacos here.
I'm pretty sure his mouth was saying SHIELD but his head was saying HYDRA
*Palpatine voice
*IRONIC...*
Oh, so this is how Robin moved to New York. Her being Robin Sparkles is just a SHIELD cover up
So she's not really Canadian? That whole life was a lie?! I bought all her CDs and 3 t-shirts
Let's go to the mall!
This won the internet for today
No wonder Robin was crazy into guns
@@inanimatesum4945 she is really beautiful tbh.
"SHIELD *demands* loyalty *too*."
Too? Bitch please, Hill said "inspires". Your brand of loyalty is *not* the same.
but he doesnt care
I mean.... he's HYDRA, so does it even matter?
Yeah what is this guy from hydra or something
Pathetic
Why they don’t have Maria Hill in more of these movies is beyond. Great actor with potential to make great movies/tv in the Maria Hill role.
Hill Kinda needs another shield agent to bounce off and since most of the Shield agents are either dead or in Storyline limbo right now. Once the Agents of Shield characters come back into canon The Real Maria H should be back where ever she is although I'd personally believe she's hanging out at Clint's Farm lol.
This aged like milk
Captain America inspires loyalty, but SHIELD demands it. Which do you think is more potent? Seeing how Steve Rogers survived and SHIELD did not, I'd say the answer is clear.
Yes, thank you captain obvious for spelling out the subtext here :-P
Shield did survive through Colson and his team it's hydra that didn't survive
*Whispers: _Hail Hydra_
*TRIGGERED*
Now we know Hydra did survive.
dublcheez Captain is the best.
Captain is always right.
Shield doesn't "demand loyalty".... Hydra demands it....
Quoc X Lai I’m glad Bucky threw him out of the car
Ah, but Hydra was practically Shield at this point of time. There's a reason why I originally hated Shield, and that is why, amongst other things.
@@amberandrews6692 Emphasis on "originally"
@@aadi55 Hmm... no, I change my mind. I still hate Shield.
@@amberandrews6692 Fury's S.H.I.E.L.D. (aka Hill, Coulson, Most of His Team from A.O.S., Nat, Clint, Hand, Izzy, Bobbi, and Steve) is more of a real family and are loyal to the family while Pierce "S.H.I.E.LD." IS disloyal to everyone but themselves. I wouldn't be suprised that no matter what you are forced to join Hydra rather if you want too or not.
I love the way that cobie always takes roles of strong willed women, she kills it in stumptown!
it's interesting how some actors become so closely associated with a role we can never see them as anything else, while others flow seamlessly from role to role, and our familiarity with them adds to our appreciation of their skill.
I hate when agents of shield is not mentioned at all. Coulson and his team are the real S.H.E.I.L.D. It's the most underrated show ever. The writing and the character developments of the show are incredible. I wish everyone saw that.
Coulson, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Fury and Hill. They represent what SHIELD should be.
In my eyes anyway.
@@bowtie2232 YUP agreed
@iam_heraldo1619 I know. The only thing I liked about daisy johnson, was her line "there's no SHIELD without Coulson. There's nothing without Coulson."
Well, they couldn't reference directly since everyone but a select few think Coulson is dead.
@@datboi9539 Still think Hawkeye and Black Widow should've known Coulson was alive. They confirmed Clint was level 7, and I bet Natasha was too.
Should have left this in. Would have made his betrayal sting more as he discusses loyalty here.
Agreed. Damn Hollywood movie time cuts
I disagree. For one thing, Hill would have told Sitwell where to stick it trying to give her orders. Another, after Fury's death, she wouldn't have just walked into HQ like it was just a normal day. If there was anything she needed in there, the situation room would have not been one of the places she would have gone, and she would have gone in covertly.
This scene was written with zero consideration of the situation and the characters. Likely why it was left out.
@@samsonguy10k Agreed. Maria Hill is Shield's #2, after Nick Fury. If Nick Fury died, then she would assume command. A lower level agent like Sitwell barking orders to Hill wouldn't make sense at all.
@@adidasut11 That's not how it works. They appoint the captain and the captain makes his crew. When captain is gone, they choose new captain who can make his own crew.
@@samsonguy10k They called her, what was she supposed to do?
he's probably still mad that simmons shot him with the night night gun
Definetely. And "There's no way we're calling it the night night gun"
@@diegogalvan1110 you're right. Icers, however, is a much cooler name.
Key difference: Cap inspires loyalty, Shield demands it.
Cobie Smulders should get more time in the MCU, Maria is a goddamn badass character and should get the opportunity to showcase it more often. A Disney+ show would be awesome for her i think
@Repo man Yeah seeing her save them was awesome. I deffo would've included her in the final battle in a quinjet or something with Fury beside her, even if for a moment just to show that they were there.
There is the difference/disconnect. Maria Hill tells Stilwell that Captain America INSPIRES loyalty and Stilwell tells Hill that SHIELD demands loyalty (which is actually Hydra making the demand).
This scene should have been kept. It was a great way of a group demanding loyalty while secretly covering as something else.
Cobie Smulders is just awwwwww😍
I liked this for the sole fact that Hill called Stillwell out on the impossibility and stupidity the thought of Captain America committing treason would be just by mentioning loyalty.
Smuldering hot
There is a difference between the man who demands loyalty and the man who inspires it.
Difference between inspire loyalty and demanding loyalty, inspiring loyalty has respect going into battle. Demanding loyalty put a sense of fear that causes pressure on one's mind and/or emotions.
Hydr....*Clears throat*... Shield Demands loyalty.
All these hydra goons were so spineless. In Agents of SHIELD it is revealed this guy spent less than a year on the field and got electrocuted by some untrained operative. And yet, he pretends to be the toughest of them all
She has such a great powerful voice
robin sparkles definitely has the pipes to project
@@SM-qe4wd That’s DC.
@@SM-qe4wd Robin is a male.
Cobie Smulders is the best looking woman in this series.
Naw... Scarlett Johanson ma nigga
go scherbatsky go hill
IssmaaVz In this movie I'd agree since BW's hair just is a turn off, but when her hair goes back to avengers style, its a close toss up
Nah, Scarlet Witch is bae
Mark Valdez yes she can smulder me with her smuldering good looks.
Bring Maria Hill back for more films and features. She deserves to be the director.
Q: How does Sitwell boss her around?
A: He's relaying orders.
A: Also this was cut because it wasn't working for someone reason.
Maria Hill was the Assistant Director of SHIELD. Agent Sitwell was a lot lower on the totem pole than she was. This scene would have been very odd unless Agent Sitwell was passing on orders from Director Pierce.
I like how she says cap inspires loyalty and sitwell says shield demands loyalty
They took a unique turn with Maria Hill. In the MCU, she's a lot less of an asshole than her other incarnations.
UnknownOne what other roles was she an asshole?
+V J play marvel ultimate alliance 2 or watch avengers earths mightiest heroes she's an asshole in both of them
Can please someone tell me how the hell can sitwell give commands to maria? He was an level 7 agent (same as coulson) and Hill was level 9, Omega, just one level below Fury and Pearce wich are the Alfas? I just dont get it really..
VicThorin0 I think Sitwell's delivering this message on behalf of Pierce. It would be weird that Pierce would have a level 7 deliver the message, but considering the whole HYDRA thing, it makes more sense.
well, i guess it makes sense when you put it that way.. ty
VicThorin0 if you watch agents of SHIELD you'd know that Sitwell is already level 8 here. But your point stands
VicThorin0 I mean, this is a deleted scene for a reason.
He wasn't giving her an order, just stating the facts
"SHIELD demands loyalty too"
UH YEAH YOU MEAN HYDRA YOU DOUBLE CROSSING SCUMBAG
Demanding loyality is not the same as inspiring. Good lesson in there
Feel like this scene could have been better by adding a line at the end like “that’s difference between Shield and Cap, Cap doesn’t DEMAND loyalty” or something.
The scene already shows us that. There's no need to state it. Remember, show don't tell.
Captain America *inspires* loyalty but SHIELD has to *demand* it
With Captain America inspiring treachery, it is no wonder that SHIELD demands loyalty, rather than asking for it.
Treason doth never prosper for if it does.
Captain won in the end, thus he can not possibly be a traitor, shield leadership obviously were traitors, except those that sided with the Captain.
@@michalsoukup1021 If you are a traitor and you win, you are no longer a traitor? That's interesting.
@@jaimy_games obviously, you are a patriot/revolutionary/whatever-title-you-pick thwts how winning works
"Shield demands loyalty too"- Sitwell, Agent of Hydra.
gosh she is so fine
We need more Maria hill in these movies. It would have been epic to see her turn shields men against cap in civil war just like in the comics
this is like the best scene ever idk y I like this so much its just so epic.
Is it just me or is Cobie Smulders getting better with age?
The difference between inspiring loyalty, and demanding it.
Fun fact: Maria Hill in Marvel was born in 4th April 1982. The actress who plays her in the MCU (Cobie Smulders) born... day earlier. Cobe can't be more perfect for her role.
Demanded loyalty often has the reverse effect on those who are actually loyal.
Wow great I’m just being recommended this 6 years after
There’s a big difference been inspiring loyalty and demanding loyalty.
Captain America the winter soldier is one of the best Mcu movies
Good thing Jasper Sitwell is dead now.
+trha2222 what's that?
+Bryan Leong a car made by Nissan
@trha2222 didnt he get hit by a truck? barnes killed him
killws on behalf of the organization he was loyal to. Haha feels good
Not in an alternate timeline
Let's go to the mall.
This gives better context to how she suddenly showed up in the van.
She’s so kickass and pretty at the same time😍
He whispered - "Hydra demands loyalty and blood" while walking back 😏
There's a difference between inspiring loyalty and demanding it.
Thank you and God bless
Good cut.
I can look at her all day lol
Maria Hill is the most beautiful woman in whole MCU imho
Agreed
Hayley Atwell
YES!
Yes
This is not a conversation you’d have out in the open in any Government agency.
Captain America *inspires*loyalty. Shield *demands* loyalty. Marked difference
"Cut off one head, two will takes its place! Hail Hydra!"
Captain Rogers: "That's why they made napalm"
Thank you
You can't demand loyalty Mr. Hydra!! (that's obedience) ... You can only inspire loyalty... like Captain America!
from Canadian Teen Idol to Agents of Shield. What a jump
That's what Hydra just doesn't get if they told you to jump you'd ask "How high?" but here's the thing about Captain America if he asks you to jump you don’t ask "How high?" no you just jump higher than you’ve ever jumped before.
I love her
Imagine if agents of shield had maria hill as a series regular. It would be so much cooler from the onset, but I dunno if we would had gotten so much better in ignoring the movie universe at the later seasons and become so much better at the ending.
If Sitwell had been honest he would have said "HYDRA demands loyalty"
As soon as you finish this, you are going back to New York.
Ted Mosbey is waiting for you #HIMYM
True loyalty has to be earned not demanded
Never demand when you can inspire.
I wanted to marry a mountain but instead i had to maria hill...
that joke really doesn’t sitwell.
Im sorry
Sitwell: Shield demands loyalty.
Also Sitwell: Hail Hydra!
We miss you Maria Hill 😢
More Colbie and Sif please !
A very good scene. I wonder why did they delete it!
+Karen Vardanyan It was redundant and they wanted hill's assistance of cap to be a surprise. This scene would have telegraphed it.
Then they gave away Fury surviving in the trailers, which makes the reason to delete this redundant...
Careful Jasper. Your Hydra is showing
I just realized all those transparent glass panels are actually supposed to be LCD screens after the VFX guys put them in.
I don't know why they always delete best scenes.
Nice!
robin's come a long way from metro news 1
That’s DC
according to agents of shield, Coulson inspires loyalty too! u see there!
Well he is an Avenger.
Shield demands loyalty to ... says the hydra agent. Ehem that's a good one
Ted : Kids, in 2014, your aunt Robin helped captain America to take down sheild
DC Reference.
Robin is a male.
At this point she Knows is and where his loyalty lays and that Cap and Company is the Right Choice.
I need loyalty, I expect loyalty.
its gotta be the most ironic thing that he would talk about loyalty when he is a double agent
Maria Hill was amazing character. There should have been more of her. And it would have made a better ending for Rogers to end up with her than going back to past leaving behind his friends and family including Bucky just for a woman who was supposed to have moved on
Her and Steve wouldn't work at all. They are too similar alike lol, Peggy was honesty the best choice for Steve's Character. What Marvel should have done was put her with Natasha instead of brutasha lol. it's gives both Clint and Nat a reason not to let the other person died on Vomir and it would save us from that horrible Brutasha storyline in A.O.U lol.
*hydra demands loyalty too
Inspire vs demand
i love u Cobie 🥺
Good.
Colby, always helping soldier boys break out of prison.
She is loyal to SHIELD. Just not your SHIELD.
This should of been kept in the film. Would of been great having this extra 58 seconds really.
Every time I see Jasper Sitwell I just remember Jemma shooting him in the chest XD
Love the crossovers
I could've sworn this was in the actual movie lol.
