Did you do anything other than spin it on the starter for awhile to get that prime? I'm having nightmares trying to get a fresh-built S54 to pressurize the oil system.
Awesome. I'm trying the same thing tomorrow. Did you pull the coil power supply or just disconnect each coil after and pull plugs? I'm pulling my fuel pump relay as opposed to the entire pump. Hope that works.

I pulled coils, plugs and fuel pump fuse.
