Mark, I couldn't figure out what was so similar with you and Joel, but it's your manner of speech. Yes, you could pass for brothers, but the crux of it is your speech patterns, intonation, inflection, and mannerisms. I like it. It shows that no matter whence we come, we will always find a brother, or sister, everywhere.
And that is an encouraging thought.

Sukka ( Meaning Dry) chicken, or sea food was another unique Mangalore creation, with coconut as its base.Try Mangalore Prawn or clam “Pundi” and also “Kori Rotti”. Lady Fish is a unique “Buttery” fish..a favorite.Mangalore “Natural” ice cream, ideal Gudbud ice cream, MangoBerry Kulfi ice cream (opposite Machli). And Sizzlers at lalbagh “Sizzler Ranch”… don’t go to the other “Sizzler Ranch” branches. Try “Kadri cafe” Vadas..amazing… A britisher took “charmuri” to London and it’s become a hit there.

For those of you who dont know, Mark is the original food and travel YT blogger. You dont get his mega stats by being average or trite. Even by his high standards this is a classic episode, made even more enjoyable through the presence of Joel, his long-term buddy and original YT partner. Followers of Mark may recall the Cusco Peru episode, where he and Joel eat many exotic fruits and do battle with some awesome chillies that result in tears of laughter. These guys were born to eat for us! Thanks, Mark and Joel.

Wow, what a mouthwatering video! I love how you explored the diverse and delicious cuisine of Mangalore, especially the legendary ghee roast chicken. That dish looks like a masterpiece of flavor and texture. I learned a lot from watching you cook and eat it.
One interesting fact that you might not know is that ghee roast chicken was actually invented by accident. According to the owner of Shetty Lunch Home, the original restaurant that serves it, his grandfather was trying to make a chicken curry with ghee, but he added too much ghee and forgot to add water. The result was a thick and rich masala paste that coated the chicken pieces. He decided to serve it anyway, and it became an instant hit with the customers. Since then, ghee roast chicken has become a signature dish of Mangalore and a must-try for any food lover.
Thank you for sharing your amazing food journey with us. I can’t wait to see more of your videos. Keep up the good work! 👍👍👍
