If you're new here, hello! Here is a little bit about me... As a teenager, I first began experimenting with skincare formulations searching for a solution for my acne and dry and sensitive skin. As a research scientist and plant extraction expert with a bachelor of science in biochemistry, I actively works alongside scientific researchers at universities across Canada, natural health product industry leaders and expert consultants to develop high performance, sustainable cosmetics that are good for people and planet.

All these products look so interesting. Thank you Kenna!!! 😊
I used to have eczema, and learned how to keep my skin hydrated and sealed. Now its basically non existant, except when its winter and I forget to apply lotion on my hands after washing. Its like such a specific spot on the exterior of my hands near my thumbs that gets this eczema rash. Couple of nights slathering shea butter and days with Eucerin calmed it, but the greasiness was not nice when I had to go outside. Ive always wanted a nice handcream, but i didnt know which one to get. You saved me time experimenting so thanks a lot !! 💖 Also soo interested in that oil body cleanser too
I love the real barrier extreme cream and essence as well! It was eye opening to learn about lamellar emulsions. It just sinks into the skin and marries it. I’ve gone away from using actives except tret and if something has the MLE label I’m really looking 👀
I'm definitely going to try the retinol serum from inkey list because I've noticed most retinols on the market are very gentle but I will be careful when I use that one
I use Color Street to do my nails at home! I've been using it over 5 years!
Paula’s Choice has a good BHA body lotion and an AHA body lotion. They also have a retinol body lotion, but I found it hard to blend into the skin and expensive.
I’ve used the versed BHA body spray and it’s quite nice. I’ll check out Paula’s Choice as I love the brand :)
I am addicted to these oil cleaners. I rotate between bioderma, la roche posay and uriage.
Hi! I was wondering if you have any more lip product recommendations? I was in the store today saw a collagen lip balm/serum. Isthat a thing? Does that do anything? And what about lip plumpers? Im pretty sceptical of those, are there some that actually work?
Can you do a video on rosacea please please
I'm curious about the Bioderma cleansing oil.. it seems to me to be more like a gel cleanser? I don't see any actual oil listed in the ingredients or am I missing something?
when you say you're using glycolic acid and tretinoin, do you use them together on the same night? or is that too harsh?
Too harsh
I use glycolic acid and retinol (not tret) but on different nights. Definitely don’t want to use them together.
👍
No way would I forego retinoid use in the summertime! I’ve never heard anyone recommend that. It seems to me you’d be foregoing crucial anti-aging part of the regimen. I wear sunscreen daily and carry a parasol daily year-round.
No I definitely didn't mean to forego retinoids in the summer! I just meant that I heard some people recommending not to use them in the winter and this is definitely when I'm more diligent with them including body retinoids. I do use retinol in the summertime as well :)

MLEs are so cool! I’ve been working on some crystal structure emulsions that have a similar effect :)
