These have been around since the 80's, so about 40 years. I've been skating them for about 25 years now. They used to be around $55 back in the early 90's, but nowadays they're around $90-$100 - and you don't even get the jump bars! That's right, the jump bars are discontinued. Now you have to get custom made ones. They have one weak spot, and it's between the front kingpin and pivot cup area. Put enough stress on the toe stop, and you can snap it there. My friend's brother did that playing skate basketball once. His other brother would break the pivot pin right off of the trucks when landing jumps, so that's the other weak spot. Most Sure Grip trucks do NOT fit these plates - only certain model of plates have trucks that are compatible. I found some Marathon IV plates that had sturdy trucks that were close enough to work. The pivot pins were well reinforced on those. The pivot pin CUPS are usually soft blue rubber and wear out quickly. I found some plastic delrin cups for Pilot Falcon plates that fit right in, shimmed up with small washers to take up any slack and they've been working well for a couple of years now.
Availability with these right now is hit or miss. I read that Sunlite changed manufacturers and moved the tooling this last summer, so supply is low. I can't even find the right size/color combo I'm looking for right now, or verify that it's in stock. Expect to be waiting for months in some cases I guess.

They do still come with jump bars, all sets I have received over the last year all have them

Just got a set with a factory jump bar . Even though it said it wasn’t going to oddly enough. It came with one on them.

@@rollerskateuniverse6763 Then you got lucky. I ordered a set of size 6 and they didn't come with them. I even tried to special order the jump bars since they were separately listed, and my order was cancelled because they were discontinued. So used or custom is the only way to go, unless you luckily find some new old stock.

Sunlite or Competitor for Reidell 120 indoor?

Sunlite is going to be LOADS lighter.
      I'd go with the sunlite

      Same answer to the Avanti?
For nylon, sunlite or gorilla 5?
Basically 120 sunlite vs a la mode indoor vs 120 avanti

@CraigAHaskell 120 avanti for strength, 120 sunlite for lightness and a la mode for best "all rounder".
A la modes are a touch wide in the front, but break in fairly quick
