First video posted to UA-cam, a lot of my close friends, coworkers , employees and general people who I know continue to tell me my content is valued and that maybe I should be posting on UA-cam. Tip and tricks would be greatly appreciated
This is the correct way to install this particular roof vent(listed below, found at Home Depot), removing the shingles gingerly. Take note on how I tried to avoid bending them, bending them upwards. You do not want to crack / crease / weaken the shingles. You still need to remove the old nails to not cause nail pops later. The holes were cut by the General contractors interior worker.
I’m available to answer any questions for any newbies or just general questions, or for homeowners. I’m trying to be a beacon on education and knowledge to those in my area or anywhere for that matter. I see to much shoddy installs that someone needs to make a change for the better.

Hey, Brother, just wondering if you took out the screen for those vents, as I think I saw a glimpse of the screen at 0:05. We have a lot of problems down here with them getting left in and causing major clogs for the dryer, leading to fire hazards. Im not really familiar with those vent terminations, though. Currently going through a CSIA training for dryer exhaust certification, and I really appreciate your video, as there really isnt much on these installs.

@@zentark360 I don’t believe these are for dryers. The Gc supplied them, and just mentioned in conversation that he was using them for dryers. Which probably isn’t the right application, but he isn’t going to change what he wants on my word.
I’ve seen them off the side of houses. Full of the lint you’re mentioning in. If I had to make a suggestion, I’d say keep the screens in and sell it as a service. Once a year. Clean the gutters, check all vents. Etc.
The leading cause of house fires in America. Is in fact. dryer problems. Thanks for asking. Sorry it took me five days to respond. UA-cam doesn’t alert me yet for comments.
