I agree there are many more shops in delhi, I have been buying records since 1973, Have visited New Gramophone house, Maharaja Lal and sons, Bercos and few shops in Karol Bagh also

This man is a Braveheart. I have been to his shop a few times. This man has been standing alone and stood tall when vinyl was eaten up by CD's and other digital formats of music. While CD is good but every other digital format is absolutely RUBBISH. And today he is reaping the Harvest of keeping his chin up during the tough years.

They are not the only one in delhi its a false claim even in chandni chowk meena bazar there is another popular shop named shah music. they are also one of the costliest one. there are many place in delhi where you can get records as cheap as ₹30 but they also start increasing their price. There was a time in recent past when in kabadi baazar records are sold on per kg basis and most shops and collectors get these records from there and now selling them at very high cost. The costliest hindi record I currently encounter with is for ₹9000 .

You are right . My friend had loads of records he never gave me even after literally begging .
Then one day he told me that his mom without his knowledge sold it to Khabari wala in per kilo basis.
Ones the records are circulated through the khabari walas they are actually Khabar .
Some records go into 2000 dollar rates but only insane people with loads of money buy them .
There rate are very high.
The only thing I don’t like is the antique dealers they are very very rude people . That is the only reason I don’t go into antique goods.
These records are all old and used. They ask for ridiculous price .
If they are in mint condition that is fine but used and scratched LP and records are basically useless .
