Another super video and what a whopper that tractor is! You’ll be pleased to know I investigated the Lot et Garonne/Occitanie debate and found out if you travel east of your area you’ll eventually come to a place called Dausse. A little after that you are then in Occitanie 😂. I knew Toulouse was in that region though. Also, a question re the Lillie Langtry please. I went there back in the early eighties but I don’t remember it being so posh or so big! Has that always been the one and only Lillie Langtry or could I have been in a smaller pub all those years ago 🤔🤔. Sunday roast looked delish 😋
Ah thank you! I'm pleased to say too that I was right that we were still in Lot et Garonne :) hence my confusion! That Lily Langtry pub is fairly new, say two years, so definitly not the same venue ... but yes the best pub sunday roasts I have had for a long time!
I hate to correct you Richard but it is the same. It had a refurb 2 years ago and before that it was (how to put politely?) very different. We went to an engagement party there about 12 years ago. Remember? 😂
Actually. I am wrong. It was called squires before but there is a pub called the Langtry just down the road. It’s very spit and sawdust but not too shabby 😂 x
As long as you know how to get home Richard the names of the regions dont matter that much!! 😂 Beautiful Christmas tree Maria ❤💚 Looking forward to ever more happiness and great humour on your channel. 😊🇦🇺
Thank heavens for GPS! 😂 I am pleased to report though that yes n we were still in the Lot et Garonne ... And thank you once more for your lovely comments. :)
Haha. I never even thought I might set off anyone’s Alexa. So sorry 🤦♀️. Hope you know who (as we say in our house in case she’s listening) played great Christmas songs for you 😂
Love it! So much going on with this one, and now I'm hungry! When we eventually settle in the Loire Valley, I have no doubt that one of my husband's first road trips to the south will be to visit the Musée du Foie Gras. He will say that it's worth the drive. Beautiful job with the tree, Maria! Sorry to hear about the boats contract. It's always sad to see old and faithful businesses fade away. Thanks to you both for another fun 15 minutes on my Sunday!
Le Lot-et-Garonne - fait partie de la région Nouvelle-Aquitaine bien que parfois on l'assimile avec la région Occitanie notamment par sa culture proche de celle du Lot et du Tarn-et-Garonne. = part of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region although it is sometimes assimilated with the Occitanie region, particularly because of its culture close to that of Lot and Tarn-et-Garonne.

@@Maria_Hall no way! So you reckon it’s the one I’d have gone to back in the 80’s 😂

Thank you. ❤. I did reply but it’s disappeared 🤷♀️. Hope I didn’t set off your Alexa too 😊
Thanks for the Christmas music Maria. Our Alexa responded to you on UA-cam better than she does to us most of the time.
😂 we are so so sorry!

Thank you. Definitely a bit of a whirlwind this week in more ways than one. Poor Richard 😂. I think I would have been green 🤢 ❤
Plenty to discover in France. Thanks for giving us a glimpse into the festivities. And what a special workplace to edit the video 🛥️ 😊
It’s a pleasure, apologies for such a random programme! Yes needs must re the edit or there wouldn’t have been an episode tonight 😂
Funny how Richard gets Occitania and New Aquitaine confused, meanwhile each of these regions are 3/5th as big as the whole of England! 🤣😂
You just have to love France! But yes it was a fun discussion! 😂
Merci beaucoup pour les infos 🤗
Stalagtites hang on tight. Stalagmites might one day touch the roof.
That’s a great way of remembering. Filthy minds (no names mentioned - Richard) think of tights coming down 🤦♀️🤣
Les stalacTites Tombent, les stalagMites Montent.
It sounds better in French! Merci!
@@gsbeak - I think of Tites HANG on tight, Mites MIGHT reach the ceiling.
