Dennis Haysbert is currently cast in the Netflix movie, "Flamin Hot," as an engineer supervisor at Frito Lays. I miss him in the AllState commercials. The first time I saw him, "Waiting to Exhale." His voice is a rare gem. 👑⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🏆💐
I'll always remember him as the Allstate Man ✊🏿
Same😂😂
Me too
My grandma used to get pissed everytime those commercials came on! 😂 Said she was just plain sick of seeing him. 🤷😂😂
@@krazykaye8843 oh 🫢😭
Exactly he never went anywhere, he's just counting that Allstate money.
I remember him in major league. Every time I see him, I notice that his characters give off a presence that demands respect. I didn't know he was that tall. But it would explain why no one has thrown a punch at his characters. He is definitely underrated.
Signature voice indeed. Loved him In Waiting to exhale - even though he broke Whitney’s heart 🧡
😂😂 This is the number one reason given to me by ALL the women in my family why they say “I HATE HIM” 😂😂
She dumped him. "He's a good man, Savannah" 😂
lol
That is a fine ass man! When he had that goat T in "Heat" OMG!!! And I loved him in "Major League" and "Queen".
He is a great actor. He was doing the Allstate commercials. He has 7 upcoming movies, and he is still a millionaire.❤❤😊😊
....And he's still handsome😍
7 upcoming movies ??? WOW.And a millionaire to boot ??? COOL.
@powerbad696 powerbad696 I looked up his imbd, and it lists his upcoming movies.
Don't forget He is FINE AF!😁😚
@@mibizness7523 ❤ absolutely 💯
Dennis Haysbert also co-starred in 'Flamin' Hot' as Clarence C. Baker in a movie that dropped on the Disney app June 9th 2023 a few days ago. 🎯😎
He was awesome as the president in '24' tv show.
Big Facts!
I love the David Palmer character! 24 is probably in my top 5 of favorite shows!!
He has a suaveness about him kinda like a Denzel Washington but he seems a little more grittier, you'd be in good hands with Dennis, he's got it going on .
Dennis IS the voice of the Allstate commercials.
Underrated actor. Something about him reminds me of Ossie Davis.
Comparable distinctive VOICE I'm sure is why.
Agreed!
He is such an amazing actor and very underrated, give the man his flowers.
He is a criminally underused actor. I'm not shocked that he was an actual Army Ranger. Watch the series , "The Unit" that he stared in. It was an incredible performance until they changed the writing and style in the last season.
Oh shit that was my show, dope charecter. I hated when they put Rodman in the show.
@@fatcatpeople Rodman WAS NOT in THE UNIT!!!
They MESSED UP when they killed off "SGT. HECTOR WILLIAMS" replacing him "WITH AN UNKNOWN ACTOR AS WELL "A BROAD" AS TEAM MEMBERS."🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮
I wanted to say this, but you said it better. One of my all time favorites.
He had a brief scene in Jarhead and he played that role like it was second nature
I loved that show “the Unit” 🥰
"And I can't believe it's real
Can't believe it's you
I can't believe it's happening
I can't believe it's true..."😂😂😂
When he first met savanna in Waiting to exhale...Haha
Didn’t know he was a vet! Dope. So when he plays Military roles, he’s actually lived the life.
He didn't serve, had a health defect.
This man is beautiful 😍
I call him the Distinguished gentleman. Because there's something about his strong regal like presence that demands respect👑
He's got the best voice in the business
Better than Morgan Freeman ?
@@iedermensisanders that's right
I loved him in 24 and The Unit. He would be a good narrator with his voice
He has that Morgan Freeman and Samuel L. Jackson narratoring voice that's for sure.
Loved this guys character in "Heat". I had a friend who was just like him and had pretty much the exact same thing happen, resulting in him leaving behind a wife and 2 year old daughter, smfh.
He had just gotten out from doing 6 years in Prison, and him being on parole meant he couldn't find a job that paid well enough to support his family. He got desperate and decided to do a robbery with someone he knew, except he was shot dead by the person they tried to rob. Dam shame, he was a really good dude and one of those very few people in this world who were truly loyal, almost to a fault. Crazy, that was almost 20 years ago this August now that I think about it, time flies folks.
That’s deep. Even tho it’s years ago I’m still sending condolences to the family. And hope they are doing well. Peace 🙏🏾💯❤️
Sorry about your friend man!
@@carlthomas3895that's really nice of you I wish there were more people out there like you and me. Peace love and blessings 💖 ASE
Sorry for your loss
Damn imagine how the person feel that he robbed 🤦🏽♀️
The Unit was a great show.
Pay attention people! Black male actors were FLYING HIGH 25 years ago. Yes, 25 YEARS AGO. Late 1990s and early 2000s, Will Smith, Jamie Foxx, Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Tucker and Denzel Washington were making bank in their movies, $10-20 MILLION a movie, getting awards and producing too. They were STARS, headlining movies.
Now look where we are in 2020s, new generation, new producers and executives. Now they want the Black man on his knees, he can't headline a movie. He has to be in a scandal aka "humbled" by the White media, if he gets too successful. Black male actors will NEVER be successful in Hollywood like that again.
Dennis Haysbert is a masculine actor, strong jawline, physical and no-nonsense. Most women find him attractive. The White executives don't want that, especially in today "social agenda", he's got to take second place to a White woman. I know Dennis never let those execs ever abuse him and rip him off, that's why they deny him good roles.
He will always. be ...THE PRESIDENT. Primed us for BO
Well done. Keep bringing this kind of product to the screen. ♥
Waiting to exhale came out before the All-State commercial & I always thought why would I buy insurance from him after how he tried to run Savannah? He's TOO much 🤣
😂😂😂😂
I love his acting abilities! He is also a very handsome man!
Salute to Comedy Hype for acknowledging Mr Haysbert
he looks like he could be Tank's older brother
And a distant cousin of Denzel
I agree with both of you ❤
This is my dude...Have watched everything he has done. Just seeing this i am starting The Unit for the 5th time..lol
He's also a leading man. For example, The Unit
The Unit was an out-standing tv show, loved it.
Thank you for this ! Always forgot his name, but YES "Major League" and then in Alex Haley's "Queen" with Halle Barry, and yea..Allstate commercials.
Nobody has a. harsh word about this Man. Dennis is a great example of Talent Class and Style. A wonderful representation of
Positive Black Masculinity.
He was great in Alex Haley’s “Queen”
I never knew he was from Cali.. He is still FINE!!
I knew he was ex-military. His role in THE UNIT was too damn good and he felt like a natural soldier. The mannerisms and little details in the show you can’t fake if you’ve never been in the military.
Great video!!! I love me some Dennis Haysbert!!! Since Major League and then Waiting to Exhale!!! His voice is amazing!!! He’s handsome and he has style. A well dressed man is so attractive! Good job Comedy Hype!
I love this man! His voice, his charisma, and he’s handsome. No idea that he was almost 70 years old!!!
President Palmer. That's my favorite role he has played in 24
I've met him as a flight attendant he is absolutely gentleman❤
Comparing him being typecast like Urkle is quite a stretch..When I see him, I don't associate him with just one role..
Underrated great actor! Why does it seems like some of the best in their crafts get no hype?
He was so gorgeous in "Think Like a Man Too."
It's very bad to steal Jobu's rum... is VERY bad 😂
He will always be Quincy's dad
I will always remember him as the president in 24 and the commander in The Unit
And I will always see him as the 1st Black President [24 reference]. He aced that and the Unit.
24 was the ish. Had me locked to the screen.
I remember when this actor played on Buck Roger's.
Always been a fan of Dennis, remember him in a seal team series, would love to see him in some comedy movies
I know Dennis from The Unit he played in that series with Robert Patrick and Max Martini all three formidable actors. If you are a fan and have never seen The Unit check it out, it is awesome
💋💋💋 He has and is absolutely beautiful.
I enjoyed watching his Insurance commercials.
He is so handsome
THE BROTHER IS IN GOOD HANDS WITH OR WITHOUT ALLSTATE
I first realized he was good when I watch Alex Hayley's queen with Halle Berry in 92 I believe
he's an awesome actor, love all the characters he plays
Thanks so much for this
" Let All State stands. Are you in good hands ? All State commercial
" Hello. You look better than i remember you." Waiting to Exhale
" Until then don't worry. We got just enough saving to keep your fine ass in Gucci and gold." Love and Basketball
He’s now an Allstate spokesman no shade 😂
YOU IN GOOD HANDS 😂
Great actor! I remember his role in the Alex Haley's Queen series.
He was very handsome and good actor that he played very well and rise.
How great he was in Heat, this guy is criminally underused.
I really like him in the Unit 😊
Do many of you remember him in his earlier role as AN UNNAMED FBI AGENT in "THE NINE HOURS" episode of "THE INCREDIBLE HULK?"
This Man is a Legend 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
He was in a movie called the 13th floor 🔥
He look more like Denzel then Denzel Son 😆
Navy SEALS one of my favorite movies
He will always be my favorite cheating husband who dated Whitney Houston in Waiting to Exhale & Allstate... he's done so many other better parts but im partial :)
The double take I took when he said Jaleel White, I'm like what did I click on 😂😂😂
I had no idea WOW
Since i was a kid until now i call him the Allstate Man😂😂😂 i never knew his real name lol
He's a _good_ man, Savannah
He's a positive thinker a great actor because of a old movies Marines and one with Michelle Pfeiffer good one and many more.
We can all close our eyes and know it's him speaking..lol
My wife and I always think of his as Snake Doctor in the series the Unit and as Senator and President Palmer on 24.
He getting money he’s in the Flaming Hot movie on Hulu rn
He looks like Brian McKnight older brother
The Unit tho!!!! That was my ish!
Oh wow he have a whole in his heart 😯
The Unit is a good show.
Love and Basketball
BET or the SCI-Fi channel should purchase the rights to the show, "THE UNIT" get producer Mr. Mamet and Dennis Haysbert back together and watch the ratings go thru the roof! Haysbert played the most black empowering roll EVER!!!!
I never knew his real name; I only knew to call him Mr. President. 😊
He's an impressive actor, very unique, but Im not sure Hollywood has ever known how to cast him. Hes kind of like a Robert Mitchum ... that 'every man' Actor who had roles of many types. Maybe leading romantically, politically, as a father figure ... The list goes on. It just seems he has plenty of range as an Actor but hasnt been allowed to use it?
He so fine. Omg
To say "What happened " like he ain't got a million off acting lol 😆
Thanks
Great actor.
Denzel Washington’s cousin.
I actually like him as an actor, better than Denzel.
Go for Blane.... #SnakeDoctor
His voice is just 😍. I do remember that line about him's from a Kanye West song. 😂 It was messed up but it was funny.
“San Ma-tay-o 😭 “
I will always remember him as Quincys , father
He's also veeerrrry handsome!
I just watched this man in the flamin hot movie on hulu
@3:43 he look like a skinny luke cage😂😂😂
The one and only known movie i love of Jaleel White is Who Made the Potato Salad!
You're in good hands... 😊
He is one of the people I love to watch on many things but had no idea what his real name was until now. Any time someone mention him they be like the allstate man or guy from waiting to exhale. That's the only way I've ever known him. If somebody used his real name I would be like who dat is?😂🤷🏿♀️
😂😂😂
Love him in Splinter Cell and The Unit
The title said what happened to him, as in where is he. It should have been titled who is he.
