What proof (REAL) proof do we have that Sophia Stewart did not create her story that's actually in her book. And, what proof do we actually have that proves that those two brothers did infact create their own story minus using Sophia's writings? Anyone can steal ideas and create a movie. Sophia isn't a film producer. Hollywood directors/producers are always stealing from people... It's a pretty common occurrence in the film industry! Since the machines use humans as a source of energy, I suppose every human counts so instead of killing The One, I would probably just make it a lot harder for humans to break out of the matrix. Keep Neo and Trinity plugged in and tucked away somewhere within machine city instead of some random place where the rebels like Morpheus (or Bugs) can free him. Tighter security would ensure there are no rebels in the first place and all of humanity would continue their blissful existence in the matrix. Kind of like….the world we live in right now 🤦♂️ How would you have done it?
It’s certainly an interesting interpretation and connection to both films - I like to think of the stories connected now cause it’s interesting to think about it that way - they are such deep layered stories with so much hidden wisdom - I think she has books out there that were published in the 80’s - not sure how similar they are to the stories in the films

It's not about fandom. Me saying that I'm a fan of the Terminator and Matrix franchises and still believing Sophia Stewart's story erases all ideas you have of me being bias to anyone... I'm on her side because her story and the circumstances surrounding her story seem believable/possible and not new in the world of Hollywood.
The correct approach to this whole story is a neutral one...but a "fan" of the Terminator/Matrix series can tell you that both franchises are lost in translation and confusion. Nothing wrong with acknowledging that...and once again, EVERY last one subscriber you have commenting here is a fan of The Matrix and Terminator series. I never once said that I was Sophia Stewart's fan...just a fair assessment.

After reading the book (or even just doing enough research on it's back story to be honest) I guarantee you will not believe this claim. Thomas Althouse also claims his script "The Immortals" was the true inspiration for The Matrix. If you think about the political landscape we live in today it's obvious why his claim has sunk to the bottom of the ocean but hers has become folklore that is still floating around social media.

The thing is... real research says the Terminator story was actually stoIen from an old TV show called 'The Outer Limits', which was in a particular episode called "Soldier" that aired in 1964 and was originally written in 1957 by Harlan Ellison. He brought forth a lawsuit against the Terminator franchise and they settled in court for an undisclosed amount of money.

I looked into it because I was so in love with those concepts but Hollywood's proved itself to be Hollywood...full of deceit. She hasnt built a career on her accusations, she just sold a few books. She is not a script writer...she submitted a story to a science magazine contest in the 80s that the Wachowski brothers were somehow connected to.
Check out the last 2 Matrix films and the last 3/4 Terminator fillms. Where are the writers who came up with such deep concepts? Where? It uses the hero/profit archetype which is not unique to any of the properties mentioned. If anything she heavily borrows ideas from Star Wars and fuses it with biblical symbolism. As for the legal docs, I urge you to dig deeper. What the evidence she presents in the book is flimsy.
