Hmm, but why Spartans were without helots? It was true that Spartans were highly trained but they were never alone and helots (something between slave and freeman) always followed them, think of Spartans as a war machines. Furthermore helots always carried an extra amount of trowing spears. It same for Thermopylae battle, it’s not only 300 Spartans which died there, also 900 helots (it’s pretty unthinkable that you abandon your master, right?). As well 700 Thespians and 400 Thebans.
The Romans seem incapable of deploying properly. If they had formed effective shield walls on the flanks to defend the archers instead of loose handfuls moving there at random it would have been closer. Or another 10k archers to make it more even.
The numbers should have been the other way around. Spartans are much stronger than Roman Soldiers. Archers aren't effective against the Spartans because of their shields. Very unbalanced battle.
First I thought I do not see right You gave the Spartans which are the strongest standard melee unit the far greater number There was no even a little chance for the Roman's As usual😅😢😢😢

The other side won the test battle ^_^
@@kingcrab1 So why didn't you post it instead of this one?
@@richr.7698 Because I do not record test battles, and looking for a balance that the battle was interesting as long as possible
Spartans will win
