ABOUT THIS GAME:
Welcome to Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator 2, the most ridiculous and insane battle simulator in existence! Create eye watering battles with hundreds of thousands, and even millions of characters on screen! Jump into multiple story and player driven campaigns or make your own and share them with your friends! Sandbox mode will return, with infinite army sizes and far greater flexibility than ever. FPS invasion will also be returning, where you play through the eyes of a soldier fighting off hordes of zombies in first person.
Lets not ignore the elephant in the room! UEBS2 features revolutionary new crowd rendering and AI technology which uses pure GPU POWER to bring nation size battles to life! UEBS2 handles 100 times more characters on screen than its predecessor, and in far greater detail and quality. Details were not ignored, every individual has highly advanced decision making and animation, all while working together for a greater goal. We are also working hard on our own 'mass' GPU physics engine. Our hope is to bring physics to a scale never before seen, which may allow thousands of ragdolls, and millions of physics based objects. Keep in mind, our physics engine is in very early development so we can't make any guarantees.

35:50 this part is so cinematic. the shields glistening as the troops pour in to help the final effort against the zombies. so sick 😭😭
Can you imagine being a spartan on the left flank and getting pushed further and further back and guessing that the rest of the army is doing just as badly and then you notice that Spartans are beginning to come up behind the zombies and then you’re totally flooded with the rest of the spartan army at your back and someone tells you they demolished them in the center and the right? That’s gotta be a great feeling.
We heard about Athens falling. We heard rumors from the few survivors that they were not men, but half rotten corpses nearly impossible to stop. We assumed they were crazy, that they were just Persians. Then we met them. The wind blew in our direction and we could smell the death. It was overwhelming. We were confident that a wall of shield and dory spears would stop them. Some of the younger men charged ahead. They were the first to fall. The ground became red with blood, but it was our own!

The flanking and counter-flaking runs by Spartans and zombies was great. I was on the edge of my seat to see if the Spartan line would be broken but it never was. They pull up reserves just at the last minute. Great battle.
The Spartan's would find an area they couldnt be flanked and set up the phalanx and it would be an easy win. They wouldn't charge atvthe zombies.
I guess the main problem with these simulations is they dont use battle tactics.
Yeah the Spartans YOLO charging across the open field at the start bugged me. Youre outnumbered 5 to 1. Get into a tight formation in an advantageous spot and let them come to you.
@@finsfan90 honestly using RTS mode just to place the spartans in a defensive location, before switching to attack mode once the zombies reach them so the spartans can cover their flanks properly would be a smart move.

It would be pretty nice if they tactically retreated before those acute angles formed on the edges.
It was amazing to see huge amounts of both armies moving everywhere trying to push through or out flank.

It was cool to see how each new front opened up. A battle that started north and south ended east and west. The field at the end looked like stripes where the Spartans would counter the flanks and each time would be broken thru to create a new front. Until the end of the battle almost adopted a u shape
It would be more fun to watch battles with more vesitality. Instead of having two massive armies fight 1-on-1 on flat terrain, split those armies up into multiple smaller armies, coming from multiple direction, fighting on more versatile terrain. This way, more frontlines would be formed, and it would be more enjoyable to watch.
Agreed, particularly if you could assign "behaviors" to individual army groups... phalanxes, infantry, artillery, archers, cavalry/dragoons, charioteers, etc. and could redirect groups (sort of how you can int he Star Wars games). This mob vs. mob is cool, but it needs to be a real warfare simulator - take it to the next level coders!
this but one side defending strategic locations, if the other side breaks through they will be able to strike the other armies backs, so each location is important to defend, where as the defender only has to defend till they wipe out the enemy then they can reinforce their allies or strike the enemy in their back.
Spartans fight in close formations as a unit. This simulation could have done that to show more realistic combat.
Spartans are awesome at responding to flanking maneuvers. You should seriously consider putting some Spartans on the ends of your ranged units, at the very least. I would also put them out front. That's just me.

I got ideas, Cap. I know how you can maximize your defenses against the zombies. You need 1,000 Spartans on each flank. You should orient them perpendicular to the rest of your forces. Then have your ranged units in this order: Muskets (longer range) Machine guns, shotguns, and then arrows. In the very back have a small contingent of Spartans that you direct to a collapsing flank. Also, if you put one small horizontal contingent of Spartans in front of your ranged units, the zombies should have a hell of a time breaking through. The Spartans can handle a close up fight. Try it. I think you'll like it.

Though the Spartans incurred many losses, thanks to bravery and strategy, the zombies still lost. Decisive victory!

The bottlenecks around the village really worked to the advantage of the Spartans...they were whooping ass anyway though

The Spartans would only need to kill 5 zombie each. There's no competition here.
Well you gotta think that if many Spartans don’t get to 5 kills, the rest of the Spartans have to pick up for the ones who didn’t meet the quota which can increase exponentially if they are poor Spartans

Good battle, very close. A 6-1 ratio might have made it about even.
Can try 210K vs 1.2M. Will be a much closer battle.

Why don't you use you own scenarios from the beginning?
When deploying troops, you can set defense or movement along given directions, including attacks, encirclement, etc.
Very efficient. I used many times when putting a minority against a horde.
Double click to set the path, right click to cancel. Also you can set many directions of the path adding new lines.

Do another battle with the remaining spartan army (the exact number) vs another massive zombie army! Whatever the engine can hadle

It should've been more like 50,000 spartans vs 2 million zombies, i mean at the end 200,000 spartans were still alive.
They will get slauthered on this field. No line of defence could be held. Just form up together and get deeply flanked by the enemy force. He ratio of kills is bad too. About 250k vs 1.2m is a bit over 5 to 1. In ur scenario it would be 1 vs 40. The difference is savage.

@6:10 The Spartans have no chance. Instead of trying to block the flank u should have had that entire end, (like maybe 10,000 Spartans), pull back towards the middle & make that area stronger. Those Spartans trying to block the flank got slaughtered.
Commenting before the video is done but I think the problem is the flanking. If the Spartans where in a square formation they would win.

in realy ancient wariors and medieaveal wariars have big chanse to fight again zombie! Armor and simple weapon that dont need amunition!

Now I understand why it's so much more fascinating to watch these kinds of battles than e.g. CS:GO combats:
The startup formations in these are so bad that about every Armchair General could do better whereas one just awes the superior performance of the godlike players in Counter Strike.
For example for this battle I'd have ordered the Spartans to form a very wide line of spacing 3, 4 or whatever it takes to make the width of the first battle line a bit wider than the Zombies (which we suppose to be just a bunch of no-brainers seeking for brains) and forced with about 200,000 troops.
Then I'd laid two formations of 25,000 Spartans each at the ends of the afore formed Spartans, a bit behind them and their width overlapping only half, so their outermost men would stay even more wide than that of the main force.
Then attack, and see the Zombies doing the running to mend their breaking flanks! They are the more stupid, aren't they! :D

Yeah in the middle but not on the sides. The sides is where the most interesting battles happen then the middle near the end of the battle.

@@suneagle99 The problem with what you are wanting to see in these fights is its literally impossible for a game to do what you are wanting. Its also impossible in real life as well with massive armies like this colliding together the first few that make it into the enemies first line ranks would be cut down pretty fast because they would get surrounded on all sides and wouldn't be able to fight off all at once. Because both armies sure aren't going to let the others men run half way up into their army before they engage in combat. That would never happen.
And so the men behind them would naturally create this massive line on both sides that would push or lose ground to the other side but you would never see massive amounts of men running and mixing among their enemies lines and survive but maybe a few seconds before getting cut down.
The only way to do a battle like what you want to see is put both armies on top of each other from the very beginning. That's the only way I see it possible.

@@suneagle99 Yeah its done in movies cause its all scripted for each person to be here or be there and attack that person at a time. It does look pretty cool in movies like Braveheart or Troy and other ancient war films but you couldn't survive very long mixed in with enemy surrounding you on all sides for very long no matter how good of a fighter you are you would go down in a matter of 10 to 30 seconds at best because someone would come up behind you and stab you in the back while you fighting off 3 or 4 guys in front of you and to your sides.
But yeah I understand the cool fights from those movies but those fights can't be won with the hero running into hundreds of enemies all around him and survive to see another day because if he doesn't have his men covering his right and left and back then hes good as dead.
And finally it can't be done in a video game because games and real life aren't scripted like movies are.
This is dumb. I was expecting 300 spartans that know testudo formation.
