This is an awesome video. I’ve been looking for this exact thing for 3 yrs now. I bought a 17’ Alaskan and have had to learn the hard way a few times. Thanks for putting this video together. Hopefully there will be more content in the works. Maybe a bit of pint of view footage. Thanks again keep it up.
Another video talking about the specifics in textures and what hazards can be hidden but noticed by looking for specific characteristics. And a run down of the worst hazards that boats and yourself will not be able to handle if they aren't avoided.
While some of this may be basic stuff ... When things aren't right its usually not doing the basics that bite me. I get complacent, bad stuff happens. My river here in KS is pretty tame. Anywhoo this will be copied & go in my library. When any member of the Wooldridge family speaks about boats or how to run a river & I've listened, I've come away with a stronger desire to do what I love but be better at it. Jeff
Rivers change FAST. I live on a river and ran it every few days for a while. One day I went around a bend and the channel was always on the left. Nope, not today. There was now 3 feet of gravel on the left and the channel was almost 40 feet to the right.

Just got my first jet sled and was having trouble finding videos on how to run river and I was blessed with a tutorial on my home river
This is the most legit advice compiled in one video. I rip up my river often and doing all these things will make for a better trip.
Seems like a genuine guy. Great tips! Same points I try to teach the new boaters.
Thank you Great Advice knowledgeable about this subject takes years

This was a great vid. I've rafted for quite a while but the river does look a lot different at 20mph from the bottom up.
Would love to see more of this
Grant knows what he’s talking about, very sound advice.

What happened to the beard?

The only damage my boat has ever taken is from going downriver.
Where's part 2?
