He also has great lighting and great quality of clothes. There's still intention behind what he does though and they are good looks. One of the things is he sticks to a similar style a lot - classic. Classic silhouettes, classic colors, classic fits, etc.

I never heard that expression. I do remember watching some BBC America gardening show where they put a blue shed on a green lawn and indicated how great they look together. Frankly, I prefer your outfits. I think you look sharp!

Solid colors have to have more consideration as they are a solid block so you have to carefully match them. Lots of people wear blue jeans with green shirts successfully. I grew up being aware of the phrase 'blue and green should never be seen' but also knew it was allowed to be freely ignored. Mostly because my grandmother, who was definitely of the same vintage as the 'blue and green should never be seen' rule would say things like "a lot of old-fashioned people believe in silly rules! Wear what you want, because who are you upsetting if you wear blue and green together?!" And she would gleefully break 'silly old-fashioned rules like that.
Blue and green is legit my favorite, dark green knit turtle neck sweater, navy blue straight leg dress pants, black chunky docs and black belt, gray p-coat is one of my most feeling myself winter outfits 😁

That’s what I did for my wedding. Navy blue with a sage green. My MIL was skeptical about the color choice saying it would look bad but it was great!
