I know that everyone on the internet and their dog has talked about how bad the final season of How I Met Your Mother is. Specifically the final episode. But since you've never seen it picture this: A show spends NINE YEARS building up the hype for 1 single character. And when you finally meet her, they've done the impossible. She lives up to the hype! She's incredible for Ted, she's funny and she fits into the existing friend group perfectly. Then they kill her off so that Ted can get back with his ex that the show spent that last 5 years showing you why they don't work as couple. (and in the process divorce the couple who's wedding was the ENTIRE setting of the last season)
Ijbol because that was literally me! I thought they were going to do a Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2 and reverse it at the very least… but no. The credits rolled and I was STUNNED into silence 😫😫😭😭😭
I think the case with Our Flag Means a Death as well is that it was cancelled and that we only got such a limited amount of episodes as well that they were trying so hard to wrap up all the storylines without leaving us with cliffhangers and questions/open endings and also giving us somewhat of a happy ending which resulted in such a rushed and not good season. If only they would've gotten some more episodes to wrap it up better

I can name a few some of the worst last seasons of all time are 1. Umbrella academy season 4 2. Dexter season 8 and new blood 3. Game of thrones season 8 4. Oz season 6 5. Lost season 6 6. The 100 season 7 7. The walking dead season 11 8. Peaky blinders season 6 9. Controversial pick but Sopranos season 6. No matter how many times I rewatch sopranos the last season is always and I’ve tried to like it three different times. 10. Twin peaks the return Those are just some off the top of my head
Yeah I saw a lot of these pop up on lists online. I haven’t watched most of these though so at least it looks like I dodged several bullets! 😅 BUT HANG ON… PEAKY BLINDERS?!? Friend you must be lying!😤😩 I had issues with the final season… but it surely doesn’t deserve to be on this list?! 😭
I'll never not regret dropping GOT, after they recasted Daario lmao (I was too bored by the Mereen storylines). I had already been burned by Lost and I'm so lucky I escaped that heartbreaking 8th season mess. I'm still reading the book though, so immense anger × disappointment might still be in the cards for me. 😌

The Vampire Diaries is an abomination. I had to drink before watching the later episodes to get through it lol. It’s such a shame because that first season was, in my opinion, one of the greatest seasons of any show I’ve ever watched, and the show had SO MUCH potential. *sigh* What could have been.
Game Of Thornes of course and four to six was still good yet you could tell they needed the books so after season four they just didn't know where to go. Not only rushed yet they felt like they didn't know how to end it and just said screw it lets just try to end it.

Will never forget the disappointment of Killing Eve’s final season - I think I sat in silence for about half an hour after that finale.
