    An Illinois mother married to a respected firefighter is found face down in one of the toilets in their home on January 17, 2006. Was it just a tragic accident -- or was it something more sinister? UPDATES: bit.ly/3aH9sSZ

      You are wrong and obviously have zero experience with methadone. My best friend was addicted to it and my mother died from an overdose of it. This woman was drinking on methadone. That is equivalent to jumping off a 100 foot bridge into cold water at night. Pretty much garanteed to die when your playing that game. This woman was feeling sick and went to throw up then fell unconscious and her head fell in the water and she drown. My friend that was a heroin addict on methadone would be talking to me one second and the next pass out mid sentance. My mom passed out while reading a book and it surpressed her breathing so much she suffocated in her sleep. The stuff is extremely powerful and the dosage ratio from therapeutic to fetal is extremly close.

      @John Hicks No,it's probably not him. Just some idiot who A. Can't even spell the word "fatal" (at least I assume that's what he meant; rather than attempting to stipulate that taking a bit to much methadone somehow results in you shrinking back to the size of an unborn baby and physically crawling back up into Mammy's uterus - and as any woman would tell you THERE'S NO WAY IN HELL MOM'S IS LETTING THAT HAPPEN; even if she is still alive, still has a uterus, and just happens to be right beside you, squatting naked, legs akimbo, when you happen to overdose!?!) and B. Doesn't realise that design engineers and forensic plumbers stipulate the precise design of toilet bowls to ensure it's impossible to spontaneously drown in them - even if an adult COULD drown in about four inches of water, which they can't.
      Thinks he knows everything, when obviously he thought he was too "kewl" for "skule" in his youth - I wouldn't worry about him, mate....

    • @DarkAngel71180
      @DarkAngel71180 4 роки тому

      casarose36 that's certainly possible, but if you paid any attention at all to this case, you'd notice that not a single piece of forensic evidence connects him to this crime. There is nothing untrue about what the prosecutor said and as a former ADA myself, lack of _connecting_ evidence is the bain of any crime. Also, the sister herself brought up the possibility of an extramarital affair which throws a possible unknown suspect into the mix. Any jury would have to to consider that without any forensic link to a specific individual as the defense would _undoubtedly_ bring that up. Sadly, I don't believe there is a DA in the country that would try this case in the state it's presented here. it's too much a crap shoot and double jealousy only gives us one shot at a conviction. Any half assed defense attorney could have these charges dismissed as the case stands at the time this video was made. Hearing the sisters plea to go to trial is heart wrenching but that's not how this works. Imagine if a court could just indict people just 'to see what happens?' That is sheer lunacy, not to mention abuse of power. With that said, my heart tells me he murdered her, but feelings aren't evidence.

  • @shweefranglais7900
    @shweefranglais7900 5 місяців тому

    In the fourteen hours before opening arguments in the trial, State's Attorney Karen Donnelly offeredTracey Cusick's husband Kenneth Cusick prison terms of 5 years, 4 years and finally, six months in the county jail - not state prison - in exchange for a guilty plea in her death. It sounds like they were desperate to me.
    His side refused to discuss any such possible deals and he was found not guilty by the jury.
    Several years later he sued on the basis that he had been framed by the prosecution and his name discredited. There was a lot of negotiation but finally he agreed to a settlement from two agencies and several individuals believed to have been around the 200,000 dollar mark in total.
    Personally I think this man is and was innocent and that he deserved compensation which ultimately he got.

    Did anyone else catch the sister’s contradictory statements? In the beginning she tells how her sister had enough and was waiting for a better job to open up and she was going to leave Kenny. Then she says how Tracy’s heart is hurt by Kenny. Like she is devastated. I found that odd that she contradicted herself which makes me not believe her when she says her sister only took methadone for her back injury pain. I don’t think you can get it from a doctor unless you were a previous addict. I admit I’ve never taken drugs tho so what do I know. The update says that he was acquitted. I believed he was guilty because no one commits suicide by drowning in a toilet. I think the jury was swayed by his reputation as a business owner of a bar (probably had a lot of friends) and a respectable firefighter with no previous criminal record and everyone thought their marriage was a happy one with no previous physical altercations or bruising.
