I'm super excited to hear you guys are going to our beautiful island of Cape Breton. The home of our heart. Enjoy your time here. The Cabot Trail is epic!
The energy in this episode is priceless. Demi your camera work and editing is just getting better you are a pro now. As always epic episode take care cheers
Awww thank you Shaun I really feel like such a rookie when it comes to filming and editing I hope to get a lot better but it’s good to know the practice is working 😊 thank you ! ☺️
@@demieverafter Hope you went to Skyline trail. It's a long hike but is so worth it. The view is spectacular. My profile picture here was taken there. Glad to hear you are having so much fun!!
Oh my, you are all so full of energy! I would love to join you, but my chair would end up getting bogged on the beach!! Hehe. It made me very happy to see you all, and little Edie was having a ball! I can agree to meet people you 'meet online' is awesome. So glad you are having all these incredible experiences. Good for you to have star-link, I have heard some good things about it. That looks a happy mess, soon you throw everything back in it's place and off you go!!! The parks are lovely, I can see that having such a good time is exhausting!! Thank you for sharing this adventure with us all. Take care and keep safe. 🙃❤👩🦽
Hi Annie thank you so much for watching I’m so pleased you enjoyed it we’re enjoying the coast so much it’s hard to leave! We’ve been on the road a month now can you believe it!? We definitely have a lot of down time just to be able to have the fun time it’s impossible to explore everyday I do want to start sharing more of the realities of living in a van, figuring that one out! Edie absolutely loves the beach she’s always unsure about the water to start with then will run the length of the beach chasing it ☺️ I bet you have some incredible beaches over there hopefully one day we can come see them too. Thanks for watching Annie ☺️❤️
I wouldn’t want that curry smell to leave the van , love a decent curry and the smell … omg … We have a max air fan in ours , and you are right , total game changer !!! Graves island to camp and burncoat head are great spots to check out , the latter is free
Fun to see someone “from away” enjoying my home and native land. Glad you got a satellite connection; there are a lot of dead zones across the country…even when you are near a major city. FYI, keep extra water and a container of gas on board once you start heading west…never assume that either is available on your route, once you leave the main highways.
Hey 👋 thank you for watching we are absolutely loving eastern Canada it’s been a beautiful suprise! We will be entering the west next year from the US and then driving across Canada, very excited for this! Thanks for the tips and heads up much appreciated 🙏❤️🇨🇦
So awesome seeing you enjoying the beach run :). I totally get it. While I’m not a jogger there’s something about just running up and down a beach - can’t believe you didn’t go in the water though?!?! Lol. Did you find any decent scallops in Digby? We didnt:(. It’s as if they ship them out and not really offer to locals 😮. Btw if not too late On main land NS Martinique beach provincial park and near it the very best seafood greasy spoon Harbour Fish N Fries on with way 7. Across from a train museum. Happy travels!!
Oh it was so magical running on the beach especially as no one was there! I did dip my legs in but I kid you not it was freeeezing cold even though I warmed up I still couldn’t fully dip in 😆 maybe I need to be braver! I wasn’t blown away by the scallops either honestly I agree was disappointed I did film it all but all the Audio went so there was a lot of footage I couldn’t use! We have since had some lovely scallops that’s been the beauty of travelling around the coast you’re never too far from some fresh seafood we’ve been spoilt with it ☺️ I’m glad you enjoyed the video thank you for commenting and watching! ☺️🚐
Thank you for such a lovely message ☺️ I actually film on my phone despite having a professional camera it’s easier to whip out my iPhone pro 13 max and shoot in 4k I also use the mavic air 3 pro mini drone I think it is, that’s great fun! ❤️🤩
Thank you Robert, we are going to be entering the US next months and coming back into Canada via the west coast next year where we plan to drive across before we ship the van back to the uk from Halifax
@@demieverafter Maybe call an "auto electrical" shop and ask them. If knowledgeable they could order parts. You won't find them in stock anywhere here as there is no market for items needed.
To bad your missing a lot of Canada Quebec ,Ontario ,Manitoba ,I presume your coming back to Alberta Watch the news for possible wild fires and smoke out west its a hot year .
We will be seeing a lot more next year when we enter Canada from the west we will then drive across Canada seeing exploring length of it from west to east
We miss you too Denise! Definitely get some ghee it’s got its own flavour and works on toast too, even a tad in a cup of tea or coffee is really good for you, in India it’s so commonly used for so much especially every curry, the base is always cooked in ghee and the bread is always basted with it too
Demi , you are so attractive to look at , humble , and appreciative of everything. love your taste in clothes , Edie is so much fun and really enjoying this trip , and your boytoy , Michael , is in the frame just often enough to not turn us guys off , lol. Larry from the west coast of Canada , see you here in a few months . Enjoy.
Denise is a lovely friend, we miss her back in Ottawa

You left us hanging.... how were the scallops??
@@marykaren7542 ah yes the audio on the clip of me trying then was cut out…scallops were an average 6/10 unfortunately!
Wonder if you managed to get the electrical figured out?
I didn’t! I’ve asked in many stores and we never get to the bottom of it… I’m unsure what to do I’m still looking into it
