How to replace a blower motor and resistor on a Chevrolet G10, G20, G30 van or Chevy Class C RV

Our new to us RV almost caught fire on the way home and it turned out it was some leaves in the HVAC blower housing touching the blower motor speed resistor when trying to run the AC. So we replaced the blower motor and resistor and vacuumed out all the leaves and debris in the housing.

If youre not getting any air when turning on your heat or air conditioning in your G series van or motorhome/RV check your resistor and or blower motor. Cheap and easy repair with just a couple tools. Make sure to vacuum out leaves and debris while you're in there. Give us a thumbs up and follow as we have more repair videos to upload.

The leaves in ours actually started smoking while driving it home the day we bought it 😅
@@krataiandbrett yes I seen that one started to burn too. My problem is that I changed the blower motor and I was told to change resistor open slot it was half full of leaves. 👍😂

It did great everywhere on our 6000 mile trip except going up an 11,000 foot pass in Colorado lol. We are pretty impressed with it but the possibility of a 6.0 LS swap is still on the table 🤔
