Rekkles looks really good wearing the T1 uniform. It suits him. I am also really happy that T1, as a company, is very supportive and accommodating to whatever Rekky needs. Knowing what we know from his departure in the LEC, I'm glad he found a very strong and supportive unit rallying him for him even against the language and cultural barriers. #T1WIN

Yup, fanboy since day 1 and i was so happy when he went to LFL bcs they appreciated him and now same for LCKCL or w/e it is. People were making fun of him bcs he was crying after tough losses etc.. I rather have a player that is truly invested in the game than a guy that just does not give a fuck like carrzy usw. It is so weird that people still do not understand how dependend the adc is on his team and that the KDA-Player might just be a weakside king that does not die to it but also logically does not have much KP bcs the game is 1v2 the first 15 mins..

It will benefit him so well because he won't be able to keep up with younger ADCs.. he wants longevity and support is a good role for it.. this problem happened to Doublelift where eventually he couldn't keep up with younger ADCs.. he's still a good ADC, but not as good as the younger ones.. that's why even Sven swapped to support.. Sven is also a good ADC, but his ADC prime has passed.. so for longevity sake he swapped support and found success with it winning LCS as support..

Pedro sounds like an older brother Martin never had. Pedro supported Rekkles by vlogging and streaming about his games in LCK CL. You have a heart of gold Rat King. I have been a fnatic fan for years but the org and players of today are entirely different from what they were before. You're always in for the players and not really the org itself (why would anyone be a G2 fan if all their roster, and especially mikyx/caps, left tomorrow?), and Rekkles was the constant for so many years. Over time we've come to know some incredible players and teams, my favourites being of course the 2015 and 2018 comps, but now, even Hylissang is gone. And by all means the current team is fun to watch! But it's just a different team entirely which just happens to wear the same orange and black logo.
So i'm very happy for Rekkles that he took the gamble to T1. Pretty obviously the EU scene wasn't suiting him anymore and he needed something new and I'm so glad it looks like he's found just what he needed.

Smash not only sacrifice his ADC position to play Engaged support so Rekkles can play ADC , he also trying real hard to communicate so Rekkles doesn't feel lonely or awkward. From the way Rekkles describe, Smash doesn't do this only to improve bot gameplay but he genuinely was just trying to befriend with ma man Rekkles.

I feel like this is something that can be easily overlooked how awesome it is because we're so used to seeing people in the gaming scene on streams and such.
But if you think about it, here we get an almost 2 hour long interview with one of the greatest in the scene talking about his personal life, his struggles open an honest.
I mean think of this. How often do you see something like this in other sports?
And huge props to you Rekkles for being so open about these very personal matters. I think this is more important than you might think. Especially for all the other people who watch this who are in a similar situation. Hearing this from you can make a huge difference.

The way Rekkles talks about Smash and how the team uses the two of them makes me really excited for them like 2 years from now. I really hope Rekkles gets to play in the LCK proper. His reasoning for maybe not a bottom 5 team is super understandable, even if it makes the likelihood harder. But hey! Youre never replacing Keria, Lehends, Delight, or Beryl. KELLIN though? 100% possible, and there are very few LCK supports in the bottom 5 better than Kellin.

Rekkles journey into autism diagnosis really helped me look into my own mental.
I broke down recently on my 5th year of college thinking I just can't ever sit down and study like eveyone else and I looked into ADHD. Met with 2 therapist but both of them are quite certain that I did not have ADHD but severe anxiety and depression. Had some answers but I think that's not the full answer.
Half a year later seeing Rekkles opened up his autism really made me connect all the dots, and it really does add up. All the symptoms and cross correlations between ADHD, autism and anxiety are feeling really strong with me. Within half a day from viewing this I realized a lot about myself.
Might take another trip to se a therapist to look into this for me.
I am very thankful for Rekkles for his story, and Caedrel as an awesome host and listener. Today I found a new direction for my self development and discovery.

Seeing how well Rekkless is and at the same time finding similarities in his struggles makes me really wanna work with psychologist. I was always a Fnatic fan since Shushei season 1 but Rekkless era was something special. I miss him playing in EU but I wish for his Korean conquest to go well and to see him play with main T1 roster in LCK one day.

I am from NA, so never followed Rekkles as close as many others here. But from watching his massive talent in FNC in the early days to following the T1 journey through Caedrel's spectating the games, I am really rooting for the guy. You can tell he has a pure heart and wants to help bring success to those around him. My wife is a therapist, and one of the most important things to understand about autism spectrum is that it just affects how the brain works differently. It's like using the right tool for the job, just because a thick paint brush is not good at handwriting, does not mean that it does not excel at painting a beautiful picture. The very things that Rekkles finds difficult about "being like everyone else" are the same ones that make him so great at what he does. The fact he was willing to travel to Korea alone to take on this great challenge speaks volumes about his character.

Man, honestly, Rekkles is a changed man. He's so different compared to a couple of years ago. He's calm, collected, so incredibly humble in the way he's speaking, acting, and just being. I am so happy for him. He clearly really found himself after his diagnosis. I'm speechless, seeing the person I refused to talk to when I met him 4/5 years ago, to becoming the person he is now. Wish I could have that moment again, would love to have a heart to heart with him!

please stay in korea and grind it out rekkles, dont let europian teams waste your career away. as someone whos an international student, i can relate to how lonely and unrewarding it can feel to live in a different country away from everyone and everything, but backing out midway through and coming back to an lec team that may struggle again would be wasting all the effort and time you put into adapting and learning this new step.
im not saying i know everything, but as a fan over the years i would prefer you take as long as it takes to rise back to the top.

Not gonna lie, I just wrote Rekkles off as being washed, not really in a flaming way but just as a reality to consider from him, and hearing him talk about his struggles and personal growth for him just reminds me that people are just human still and are something much more than what their job is or how they perform. Thanks for being vulnerable and for teaching me to be more empathetic.
