Oase ClearTronic UVC 7W Sterilizer - Unboxing, Installation and Updates

I wanted to see videos on this sterilizer, how other people installed it, and what their thoughts are, but there weren't any videos on it in English. So I went ahead and bought it. Here's a simple unboxing and installation video for everyone. It has been doing what it's supposed to do. My water is clear of free floating bacteria and algae.

Thanks so much! Was replacing an Oase cleartronic, it kept leaking but realised I’d the o rings installed wrong! Now all working perfectly 🙏🙏,

How do you clean the glass? It looks like water will leak everywhere as soon as you open it

I was just about to comment this question lol. How do you clean it? Do you need to install a ball valve to shut off water going to the UV clarifier??

@Peter-nj2in even if you installed ball valves any water inside the steriliser will leak out when taking it apart. I have just asked the question to Oase.

@@r8please yes, if you have a ball valve, whatever water is sitting in the quartz glass and piping leading up to the UV sterilizer will drain. Seems like you’ll need the ball valve or else you’ll drain the entire tank until it reaches the intake.

You forgot to tell people the uv only work for 60 gallons per hour. It wont work anything more the 60 gallons per hour

Right in the beginning, I mentioned that it’s suitable for aquariums up to 66 gallons.

What exactly is the purpose of playing music while you're talking? It's distracting in an instruction video and detracts from the video...I stopped the video less than half-way through because of the annoying music. And as soon as I upload this comment, I'll look elsewhere for the info I want.
