I ordered the same clutch master cylinder & slave from SBC. When I replaced my clutch. The master cylinder lock tabs and spring washer broke less than a year after installing. I don't know why. I'll be replacing the master cylinder soon. Great video.
Should the slender have any play? I just installed a clutch and it is hard for it to go into first gear and reverse the fender that’s in the truck right now is semi new but when you press the clutch it moves back-and-forth
Did yours have a really nasty rattle unless you pushed it in and it would end up getting stuck halfway in? That’s what I’m dealing with right now and I’m guessing it’s the slave cylinder
@@ryans5757 dang, I tried doing it for my 94.5 and apparently they don't make the right length rod on the master cylinder anymore. Had to cut it and make it longer with a welder since I thru the original away.... Not to self, lots of 94 parts aren't made anymore and poses a huge problem unfortunately
Thanks man this is the only video I could find

Nice work, keep um comin!
Thank you for watching!
This swap should help with grinding amd rough shifting? Thanks for your time.
I bought the same kit for my 7.3 zf6, installed same way but clutch pedal won’t go back up?
There is a plastic tab holding the new slave cylinder rod in. Do you remove or does the clutch pedal take care of that when you press it
Clutch pedal takes care of it
i think I'm gonna replace mine soon. i've been driving without a clutch pedal.

When you push the clutch in does it matter if it's in gear
I can’t see why it would matter. Should be ok.
What year is this one? I'm doing this on my 94.5 tomorrow
For a 1999 7.3

How do you bleed the system?
You don’t need to. Just install it, fill slave cylinder reservoir, press the clutch pedal down once, and your good to go.
Fuck, yeah do you thank you so much?
