Although they are two completely different programs that have nothing in common, the truth is that Adobe's inconsistency across its own products is a bit annoying. Good video!
If AE had another window for linear timeline editing/cutting then we wouldn't need premiere. You could have added rotoscoping and camera tracking to the masking comparison too. Da Vinci has these for free natively sadly.
The answer to the question in the video title depends on the individual because not everyone wants to pay for a subscription service for Adobe products. Another fantastic video highlighting the differences between After Effects and Premier Pro. Love 🥰 the video and love ❤ Premier Basics.
The title says should we stop using Premiere Pro not should we buy Adobe or should you not use your own editing program. So what to expect is pretty clear.
once anyone learns after effects premiere will legit start feeling like a pain in the a** I swear to god. That program is only good for cutting and sound design.
after effects is a nightmare because it is soooooooo HEAVY i can't even preview the simplest ting i made meanwhile everything in premiere no matter how heavy the project gets is smooth. make after effects faster and more stable easy to relink missing files and organise files in the project panel and i will use after effects more
I honestly can't wait to leave Premiere and After Effects altogether.. plenty of bugs, crashes, still haven't automated background removal, subs animation and so many other options available to simpler software like Capcut. Rant over, unfortunately I'm too lazy to learn a new software so will stick with this s*it
Good stuff but After Effects use more resources and Ram on your PC than Premiere Pro does which is really needful to achieving a fast workflow, so I'll advise those that don't have the best PC to stay with Premiere Pro and not do the switch to After Effects except for necessary scenes or effects.
I still like Premiere because the UI just feels better compared to after effects where Ill probably randomly misclick something and wonder wat I did... Great Vid tho
When AE stops killing my college computers because it is a RAM and processor devourer, then I will use AE. In the meantime, Premiere may be slower, but at least I can run it! 😅
I yearn for the day we can remap ALL keys in AE. Why do I have to use friggin' F9 to ease?! There is no valid reason why the user can't remap EVERYTHING like in Premiere. #fixitadobe
Not sure why you're comparing two platforms when talking about basic VFX. Premiere is primarily an editing software, for editing. Would you use AE for crafting a complex narrative structure on a documentary project? I wouldn't. A bit misleading.

Thank you so much!!
Bro we need After effect basic to advance !
That is a great idea! :)
@@PremiereBasics Thanks for your reply , try to as soon as .

Hey bro thank you for everything for your great efforts ❤❤❤❤
You're very welcome! Thank you so much for watching ❤️
is jordy fine?
I still catch up with him every now and then, he's doing fine! :)
Yes, in premiere there's an export project as XML time and magic mask in resolve

100 % true! Thank you so much for watching, David! :)

Davinci for editing and grading and ae for the effects. The dynamic doesn't work anyways most of the time :D. At least for me
👏
Does after effects work on surface pro 11?

@@SirajusSalekinTanzim but after effects rendering is pain.. you can't work without premier pro
how about regular editing ? can we do that in after effects ?? let's ignore effects and graphics aside .

Totally agree!
and mask evolotion animation.. Why adobe why?

At this point there is no reason for Adobe to keep both Premier and After Effects. They should merge the two programs into one
Thanks for the video

excellent points, but my pc will have a seizure if i try to make a 20 minute movie in AE. I love them both equally, but differently!
We love you!!!
Too ❤️
OKay so its time to move to after effects basics channel 😁
YES
We need davinci basics
Working on it! :-)
@PremiereBasics wait actually???
Is this like last time I asked for ae basics??
@ AE Basics is already live! :) Resolve basics definitely coming too
@@PremiereBasics exactly my request was fulfilled last time
Best channel
After effects motion graphics animation on your 2nd channel
Why is it even two programs? Makes no sense to me 😊

You're right!

AE is by far the best of all... there's nothing like it. On the other hand, Premiere Pro looks like something from the past...
👍🏻👍🏻
Collab with jordy next video please
Maybe one day!
No!!
Yeah sir 💯
im switching davinci, adobe is just annoying
Can’t disagree
But after effects layout is very scary Bro.
