Very useful video! Just an FYI about the bracket on the left which was removed for access to the bank 1 spark plug.
About 2 days after I changed the plugs the check engine light came on. Diags showed a P0171 error on bank 1 meaning that it was running lean to the point that the control module could no longer compensate. The parts store that ran the diags said that I needed to replace my intake gasket.
I checked over everything thinking that I jostled a hose loose, but found nothing to cause a vacuum leak. Then I looked at the bracket and noticed that the it had a slot rather than a hole where it connected to the intake. I loosened the bolt, pushed down on the intake (maybe a quarter of an inch), and tightened it. The check engine light turned off right away.
P0171 means the mixture is lean. The engine is not getting enough fuel.

Thanks for video. I'm working on mine today. You forgot to mention that the spark plugs must be gapped correctly. Usually the after market spark plugs are not gap correctly. FyI
The ones I got were already gapped, just remove from packaging and install

I was hoping to see you take off the coil for the #4 cylinder. It looked like it was going to be a knuckle-breaker.

What about the other 3 plugs. The intake is in the way...
You just spin coil pack to left or right after you pull up. Comes right out.

tot bob p0599 is related to your thermostat. Check the wiring connector or replace thermostat and reset the code. This vehicle doesnt have a separate fuel filter it is built in with the fuel pump.
Drop the fuel tank, replace the pump, which includes the fuel filter.Dealership will get it done for about $800.00

I own a 2014 automatic ls with 42k miles and it feels like the tranny is slipping, but I was told it can be a misfire, so just wanted to know what was the meaning for this job and how many miles, thanks
DJC customer just wanted to get a tune up done. Misfire and slipping trans are two different things. Do you have any misfire codes?
Hey brian I have no codes the car starts and run it's just the jerking when I'm slowly moving and off the pedal. But no codes

Bosch or AC Delco should work, they should already come pre gapped.
