When I was young everyone around me used to steam their hair, hair was strong and healthy, then suddenly suddenly went out of fashion at hairdressers. I love a good steam. 👍

      Yes. I agree
Other things that were good for our hair but took extra time like roller sets also 'went out of style'

@@altheagrant8534 Exactly! They just want to blow-dry now because it's quick, setting is so much better.

Preach! So true. Steams are amazing. tbh these things tend to be cyclical. It won't be long before steaming is "rediscovered" again and everyone is talking about how great they it is. 😂

It's going backwards lol. A lot of stylists wanna do as little as possible for the most money and dont gaf about your real hair 😭

Do it. Just not too often. Once a week.

Yep, steam is the truth. Especially if you have low porosity hair.

I usually alternate between water + oil or water + grease (Bronner Brothers Super gro extra lite). I try to do this atleast once a week (or every other day if Im on top of it). My hair is relaxed and My scalp always feels soooo stimulated when I wake up after a night of GHE. 😃

Ghe was my go to method when I was a teenager it was a (God Sent) but for some reason it had stopped working. Wondering if anyone experienced this?

it could be because you hair has gotten a moisture overload. i would recommend using a protein treatment to balance out the protein-moisture balance in your hair
