Thanks for sharing this video. Everyone's hair story is different. Sometimes we self sabotage by trying to follow someone else's regimen. If your regimen works for you, don't let someone convince you otherwise.
BTW, about the trimming schedule, I agree with you 100%. I tried to get my hair trimmed according to "the schedule". A year later, my hair was actually shorter!
Another thing, hair porosity plays a major role in how hair behaves. This is often ignored in the natural hair community. Certain hair textures are more prone to breakage than others. My daughter's hair is down to her but, however, that is because of extremely low manipulation. Some people's hair cannot deal with daily combing and detangling without losing significant amount of hair in the process.
Your videos are so helpful ☺️
this was really sweet and informative 👏 ❤️
Great video 🙂💞
This are the most realest tips ever
As a Caucasian person I can agree with everything in this video. I buzzed my hair off in mid 2021, and a year later I'm only at a little over 3 inches. Sometimes I feel like just keeping it buzzed, and using wigs. 😅
Love these tips. So true.❤️❤️ Thank you for sharing! Love and Light.❤️❤️🙏☮️
You are so welcome
Certain sections of my hair grows much faster than others.
It is very frustrating
Yes I’m 4inches a year. Thought it was just me.
These tips are so awesome and well needed! Thank you for posting them!
You're so welcome!
Great tips. Tfs 💜
Glad you enjoyed them.
Thanks ❤️
You are welcome.
I wear wigs daily (removal) and i am retaining MAJOR lensnd density! Of course, my hair is in diy african threading with rubber thread. I keep it in for months on end! I redo it every 3 or 4 wks and reinstall it immensely!
Facts ✨🌷
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video! This so resonated with me even though I’m Caucasian. I did the growth test on my hair with a top colour only. Two years later, I only have about 6 inches of growth on two. The ends of my hair only are about 2 inches longer in total. I have massive hair breakage despite taking such good care of my body and hair. I think my hair is dry though. Although I’m technically European by decent, my hair feels different from other Caucasian hair - it’s very textured feeling.
Your hair may be low porosity!
I think hair grows better when its straight. Cause when its tangles up it easy to break. 😐
This EXACTLY why I utilize african threading because it keeps my strands going in one direction!

Any tips for mature women who don’t like ANY of the recommended protective hairstyle?
No box braids, cornrows, sew-in, or twists for you? Then you'd probably need to put your hair in a low manipulation style and less of a protective style, like a loose bun or ponytail, or have your hair out as an afro (or wash n go style). You'd probably have to avoid touching your hair besides styling it or checking for split ends. (Check out UA-cam for natural hairstyles that suit your length and hair type and lifestyle.)

Weird comment
My scalp is sore what can I put on it
It depends on why it’s sore. Perhaps you should consult with a doctor to rule out a scalp condition.
See in are damaging
I think it depends on the person's hair makeup and how well it's being cared for in and out of the sew in phases. My daughter has been getting sew ins for years now and her hair is very long, healthy and strong. I've been a natural for 3yrs now and my hair hasn't even begun to reach the length of her hair. I have traction alopecia so I don't do sew ins.
Totally agree
Is this for boys too are just girls 😭
Both I believe
