I've never seen the appeal to that. I personally prefer to drink butter through my nose. But people are different, I guess. The only thing I'll drink through my mouth is bleach.
+SuperMCGamer Use his music for everything. Make it your channel theme; make it your elevator music. Surrender yourself to the covers of insaneintherain.
i love absolutely everything about this. the instrumentation, emotional rhythm, video editing, the arrangement in general, the ambience, the slow buildup, absolutely everything. i can't wait for more
Wind Waker was my first Zelda game. It turned me into the proud Zelda fanatic I am today. It will forever have a very special place in my heart, and you have done it so much justice. Thank you, insaneintherainmusic. Thank you.
I am actually in love with this tune. You said it wasn't your best arrangement, but honestly I love it. I worked a 20 hour shift yesterday, and all I could think of was that when I wake up you will have a new song. And you did not disappoint. I love this melody and rhythm and am really glad you decided this was going to be your next tune. Keep up the great work my man.
+luke zembrowski Thank you! I'm glad that different people can appreciate this arrangement for what it is, despite the fact that I don't feel it's my best work!
+minimario101 I think that if he does more Fire Emblem stuff, it should be with map themes, since they're more relaxed. FE6 and FE7 in particular have some nice map themes. But if he does one recruitment theme, it would be better to do a medley of all of them. Still, I wish that he and jonnyatma (he does metal versions of VG music) could work together on something eventually, so maybe the recruitment themes would work well for that.
It's been months since I first heard it, but this song somehow keeps coming back to mind. One of my favorite covers of yours of all time. The downbeat of 4:30 kickstarts a completely new, yet still the same song, and that tenor solo is so smooth it hurts. Remember, not all jazz has to be as harmoniously complex as Giant Steps.
The original of this, specifically the version used in the staff roll for the game, feels triumphant. Like a person returning home, alive and victorious, after a war. This cover still feels like a return home, but a less victorious one. This song makes me feel as though I am returning home at last after so many years away, to see the smiles of my family once more. And I love it.
I always put this on my playlist when I study and when it comes my brain makes a warm tea with honey, wraps itself in a blanket and refuses to do anything beside listening. Great job man, 10/10
For some reason all of your covers give me the same feel as the Christmas jazz songs. You know, the jazz versions of famous Christmas songs that play at the mall or in restaurants during the holidays. Because of this, I always think of Christmas when I hear these songs.
Beautiful and dynamic! I feel that sitting down at the keyboard and riffing on a fairly simple tune resulted in a very imaginative and emotional rendition. Nice work! :)
One thing I've always loved about your covers is your keyboard playing has a bit of that 70s style Jazz that was popular at that time. It gives it a cool smooth jazz flavor. Really awesome!
It's length feels like a payoff and definitely a strength - not a weakness. Thanks for putting the song online for sale. I was more than happy to purchase!
Absolutely fantastic. I love your subtle moments, they really let your incredible shaping and sound come through. And that build towards the end was just amazing, fantastic part-writing.
I really liked this one, Carlos. It's such a chill ,a big contrast to all the "Big Phat Band" I've been listening to. Loved the piano, and I'm glad to see you giving some more spotlight to the Bari. Keep it up!
I think the best way to go about arranging something is to improv the most important track and put everything on top of it later, and that is what you just did. it worked quite well.
Bruh.. It's like... You injected liquid jazz into my ears... Which sent me on a psychedelic jazz trip... To jazz island, where I was greeted by the jazz natives who brought me gifts of acceptance and praise for my long journey... I then proceeded to create a jazz boat from the resources available so I could make the voyage home. Bruh.
Fantastic, got teary-eyed. Will listen a second time. Love the buildup. That shout chorus as you call it is so good in the orchestral version with the low brass, but it's too short! You give justice to that part for sure.
You look like you have a ton of fun producing; the recording quality is excellent, and the skill + arrangement is spectacular. I feel lucky to have this avenue of finding musical talent like this. I can tell a lot of effort goes into your videos. Thank you for publishing these: I'm a happy recent subscriber.
This is some smooth jazz! Like Portal 2 intro smooth. And that was some smooth jazz... sorry I've been waiting for a super smooth jazz song to say that! It's a great cover though!
+Joshua White I have this problem where I mix up the Outset Island themes and the Wind Waker Title Theme, since they have very similar chords, and they're in the same key :p
I remember I learned to play this on accordion a few years ago, I might still have it in my muscle memory. Also, now that your piano has the spotlight, it's not hard to notice your movements while playing. I don't understand how people can look so professional doing it, I look more like a wacky inflatable arm flailing tube man when I play accordion! Outstanding arrangement, like always.
+ThePopStarDude productions I wouldn't say it looks professional, haha, I think it looks pretty weird, coming from my point of view! Perhaps from yours it looks professional, so to speak.
What a nice, relaxing and emotional arrangement. I think Zelda games have the most sentimental pieces of music that always sound fantastic in this Jazz style you master. Great job, and you are still my favorite musician on UA-cam. :)
+El Raúl Navarro very true, zelda music has a lot of emotional power behind it. Maybe that's just the fact that it's an RPG, and RPG music tends to have a lot of emotion becaues of how it associates with the characters in said game. I appreciate the compliments, man :)
Nice job with this week's cover. I really enjoyed listening to it. I want to say that if your personal life makes it hard for you to arrange the songs, it is 100% fine for you to go on a short hiatus or adjust your schedule. I'm sure that everyone will understand. Looking forward to your next arrangement~
+Jiho Hwang Thanks for understanding! I think I'll take the advice of the general public and take this week off from uploading a cover, since I've got a lot going on. I might still uploading something special to the channel, though :)
Wow. ... Did you have an lucky egg equipped because man did you level up! I mean your covers are always good but this is freakin' extraordinary. It has been a true pleasure watching your covers over the years and seeing you level up along the way but this video I feel like shows how far you have come. Awesome job!
I'm giving a thumbs up because not only is the music good, the dude's dance is very entertaining.
that's why I pulled the camera back, haha
You must be rich, because these harmonies are MONEY!!!
+PyjamaPantsMusic Have you looked at his instruments and what they're worth? They're a lot, too, haha!
+PyjamaPantsMusic $$$$$$$$
EASY MONEEYY!!
I don't get it
R.J.J. O
THE DOWN AIR!!
Dude I love your solo at 5:01
I'm drinking butter through my ears
That might be unhealthy and cause loss of hearing
+Samu Rönkkö Who are you to tell someone where they can and cannot drink butter from?
I've never seen the appeal to that. I personally prefer to drink butter through my nose. But people are different, I guess. The only thing I'll drink through my mouth is bleach.
+Ryan Lafford Aren't we all, brother...
+linky pete I know its a joke, but that's messed up.
Wind Waker, yeeeeeeees!!
HOY SMALL FRY!
GameLark KEHHHHH??
>Taps A as fast as possible
>Eventually runs out of food
>Rage
Freakin wonderful to see you doing piano focused bits again, and that big bari was just as fantastic.
+SwigglesRP wowie
talk
Never in my life would I have ever expected to listen to R&B Zelda.
But it was so good!
Happy to surprise you!
Well done Carlos. Very chill, relaxed and really fun.
Definitely brings on the feeling of satisfaction after a playthough of TWW.
+SuperMCGamer to quote carlos himself, "how much did MC pay you to do this"
+SuperMCGamer Use his music for everything. Make it your channel theme; make it your elevator music. Surrender yourself to the covers of insaneintherain.
+Memeurr Dreamurr he's pretty much done that already.
i love absolutely everything about this. the instrumentation, emotional rhythm, video editing, the arrangement in general, the ambience, the slow buildup, absolutely everything. i can't wait for more
+Hydronium and the dance moves on the piano bench
+Hydronium Thanks for taking the time to appreciate all of that stuff man, there's more to a single video than just the music :)
YAAAAAAAASSSSSS. This song is one of the most nostalgic video game tracks of all time for me. When Outset Island kicked in, I got chills.
+A String of Code me too!
Wind Waker was my first Zelda game. It turned me into the proud Zelda fanatic I am today. It will forever have a very special place in my heart, and you have done it so much justice. Thank you, insaneintherainmusic. Thank you.
You're welcome :D
I am actually in love with this tune. You said it wasn't your best arrangement, but honestly I love it. +luke zembrowski Thank you! I'm glad that different people can appreciate this arrangement for what it is, despite the fact that I don't feel it's my best work!
Coming back after 7 years, still such a beautiful arrangement
I still say you should do Together We Ride from Fire Emblem. An AMAZING song.
That's a funny way of spelling Id (Purpose)
+minimario101 I second this.
+minimario101 I think that if he does more Fire Emblem stuff, it should be with map themes, since they're more relaxed. FE6 and FE7 in particular have some nice map themes. But if he does one recruitment theme, it would be better to do a medley of all of them. +Krash Boom Bang I second this
Mr. ShinyUmbreon bruh
this has to be my favorite zelda cover of all time
I love how you just changed the songs emotion... Just breath taking...
Sorry I was trying to make a wind joke... But seriously AMAZING job!
Puns are my job around here. But thanks, regardless!
It was a pleasure to be taken on such a ride with that chart.
+Bassoonify that's a compliment I love to hear. glad my music can take people on emotional rides!

And I love it.
Great cover man! It sounds like a Real Book standard :D
+InstrumentManiac Thanks! I'd love to see a real book of video game tunes put together someday. Licensing would admittedly be a nightmare, but still.
I always put this on my playlist when I study and when it comes my brain makes a warm tea with honey, wraps itself in a blanket and refuses to do anything beside listening. Great job man, 10/10

Another awesome jazzy rendition you have here :)
Beautiful and dynamic! I feel that sitting down at the keyboard and riffing on a fairly simple tune resulted in a very imaginative and emotional rendition. Nice work! :)

+Dylan Hardina Glad you noticed that, thanks :)
God damn I just cried
this is pure MAGIC!!! YOU ARE A GREAT MUSICIAN!!
Thanks Jose :)
Jeeezuz I LOVED THIS! WIND WAKER
+PitTan Binderclips save the day.
So chill. So good.

PROVE ME WRONG MAGIC MUSIC MAN
I adore this, wind waker is one of my favorite zeldas
made me feel exactly as I did when I first saw those wind waker credits roll, insaneintherain you're the best
Very good. Brought back old feels and made them into new ones.
6:03 McDonald's lick played with your left hand :D
(I also wanted to say that's a cool cover, but other people have said it better than me before...)
Seriously, how can someone be so talented? This is too amazing for words... Hat off for you!
Thank you so much :3
You are my new favorite VGM artist, beautiful work.
I have just finished the game today wowwww
+JTX8000 what good timing!
It takes a little bit to get there, but when this song hits its stride... wow. Bravo, sir.
yeah, a long build to a great tune, thanks for listening that long :)
It's length feels like a payoff and definitely a strength - not a weakness. Thanks for putting the song online for sale. I was more than happy to purchase!
That was cold blooded, man
Absolutely fantastic. I love your subtle moments, they really let your incredible shaping and sound come through. And that build towards the end was just amazing, fantastic part-writing.
Thanks Peter! Masterful handling of details separates good music from great music!
Very cool man. Nice arrangement. Loving the ballad feel you went with on this one!
+Music By Pedro Thanks Pedro :)
I passed out when I heard the main motif the first time in this cover. GOOD LAWD.
Amazing cover! All those feels!!
The intro was beautiful and set the perfect ambiance for a nice slow jazzy feeling. Great work
+Drays Winters thank you!
I really liked this one, Carlos. It's such a chill ,a big contrast to all the "Big Phat Band" I've been listening to. Loved the piano, and I'm glad to see you giving some more spotlight to the Bari. Keep it up!
+YeLLa_G Thanks! I feel that this arrangement is a nice contrast from the types of arrangements I normally write, too.
Probably the most beautiful video of your channel, considering your channel is already full of masterpieces.
Thank you so much man! This is a slow build tune :)
Oh my god. That was BEAUTIFUL. You must like Wind Waker, man. It's hard to believe you did while so pressed for time!
+OverThinking I just know this tune pretty well, so it was easy to come up with an arrangement!
insaneintherainmusic Cool! Sounded amazing, and I can't wait to wear the hoodie and get weird looks when I explain your channel to other people.
Insanely good performance... Just beautiful
Keep it going!
I think the best way to go about arranging something is to improv the most important track and put everything on top of it later, and that is what you just did. it worked quite well.
I need more of this types of chill music in my life!
Incredible! This was insanely creative interpretation of this song.
+SMACK64 Thanks!
Bruh.. It's like... You injected liquid jazz into my ears... Which sent me on a psychedelic jazz trip... To jazz island, where I was greeted by the jazz natives who brought me gifts of acceptance and praise for my long journey... +TheMaximumGuitarist this is like.... psychedelic jaz minecraft
Fantastic, got teary-eyed. Will listen a second time. Love the buildup.
That shout chorus as you call it is so good in the orchestral version with the low brass, but it's too short! You give justice to that part for sure.
+lemur918 Thanks for sticking around for the whole tune!
Thank you so much for subscribing, man! I really do have fun making these videos, and I'm always trying to make them better :)
Lovin the bari in this, so rich and deep...
Absolutely beautiful man.
Another great piece, IitR!
2:38 i started taking out my wallet bc it sounds like the offering music from church
+Jackson Parodi while you've got your wallet out..
Please consider supporting me on Patreon!! :) :)
you just came up on my drunken music-for-drawing adventure on youtube once again and it made me so happy
I think that this is honestly the best cover of this song on UA-cam. While I have covered it, I can't beat smooth jazz. Even with classical piano.
+theMusicalGamer Wow, thanks!
This is so tranquil! Love it!
Beautiful. Especially Aryll's theme.
Just keep making Wind Waker covers forever please. Thanks!
+rankarusu i'll make some more someday!
smooth sailing
wow so calm
This is some smooth jazz! Like Portal 2 intro smooth. And that was some smooth jazz... sorry I've been waiting for a super smooth jazz song to say that! It's a great cover though!
+The Gamer Musician Thanks for checking it out :)
+insaneintherainmusic Nah bro, I'm always happy to 'swing' by and watch some videos!!!
This is chill af, love it to bits. I love that you integrated a Outset Island and a bit of Kakariko Village at the end there.
Funny story, the Kokiri village theme is actually already in the outset island theme.
+Joshua White I have this problem where I mix up the Outset Island themes and the Wind Waker Title Theme, since they have very similar chords, and they're in the same key :p
so much passion in your music!!!!
+SuperMisurino thank you, I tried my best with this one :)
Oh dude, Wind Waker was one of my favorite games growing up. And to see you doing this track just made my day! Lovely cover once again man. :)
+Popman71 Thanks for listening to it :) I actually haven't played the game yet, but I've seen the joy t hat it brings to people!
insaneintherainmusic No problem man! And if you ever get the chance, I definitely recommend Wind Waker. It's so much fun!
aaaaaahhhhh!!!! this is so beautiful!!! -breaks the like button-
love it, so much emotion in the build up and really chill sound over all
+Lazar Mirić glad you felt the same emotions I did in making this!
Keep it up man. Really appreciate your work. God bless.
Thanks a ton for listening, man!
YES! YES! YES! It's so fluffy and crispy at the same time.
+Arathrum just like a toasted biscuit.
+insaneintherainmusic With marshmallows.
Best jazz cover you've done, IMO!
When I watched this video, I could just hear the passion exploding from my computer speakers. Beautiful work!
+Eric L. Music that might not have been passion you heard... ;)

insaneintherainmusic Well, I guess it depends on what you consider to be "normal". :P
This is one of the best things I have ever heard!! Good job man!!
Magnifique ! continue comme sa l'amie
this is perfect. i enjoyed every second of it.
+Neil Patel thank you for listening!
What a nice, relaxing and emotional arrangement. I think Zelda games have the most sentimental pieces of music that always sound fantastic in this Jazz style you master. Great job, and you are still my favorite musician on UA-cam. :)

This is exquisit, you are so talented!
thanks so much for listening to it!
i think 2 or 3 years passed and still my favourite cover
Nice job with this week's cover. I really enjoyed listening to it.
I want to say that if your personal life makes it hard for you to arrange the songs, it is 100% fine for you to go on a short hiatus or adjust your schedule. I'm sure that everyone will understand.

Even though you were pressed for time, the atmosphere was on point which is great.
+Alex Martinelli Glad you enjoy it, regardless!
THIS IS ALL I EVER WANTED OUT OF LIFE

NICE COVER OMG!

The only instrument you cant play is the plastic spoons... youve made me see my musical life in a whole new light
This gave me chills! Awesome work man!!! :D
Thanks so much David :D
Wow.
...
Did you have an lucky egg equipped because man did you level up! I mean your covers are always good but this is freakin' extraordinary. It has been a true pleasure watching your covers over the years and seeing you level up along the way but this video I feel like shows how far you have come. Awesome job!
+Chrisby 101 (Rocket Chris) Thanks! It's interesting that you say that, because many people have said that this cover definitely isn't one of my best.
I thought it was pretty nice! Nothing wrong with simpler covers once in a while, and I really like some of those licks like around 1:50!
+jparecki95 "pretty nice" brb crying
jk thanks pecky
BOTH PRETTY & NICE LIKE U OHHHHH
