You’ll never use up the potential of a 600 or especially a liter bike, there isn’t even one % of guys on UA-cam that can run a 1000 to it’s limits, so in the city, around town, on some countryside twisty roads the 1990 250rr is godlike. I’ve done a little work on mine and I’m right at 62hp to the wheels and I’m still at 20k rpm. Man I’ve ridden everything, I currently own a 2023 fireblade totally unlocked and tuned for 248hp, but my 250 is my favorite bike. The funnest bike I’ve ever ridden. I have a custom made header that goes into a SC shorty and it sounds so good after 8k. Seriously guys, if you’re on the fence about owning a bike, starting out on something that is still fun, go find one of these before the price is jacked up. I got mine for $1800 and modified it for around $2000. But even stock it AS fun. If you get a 250 nowadays you’ll get rid of it in under a year. This is something you’ll never let go of
