70 bucks for that performance is kind of insane! This mouse should do great. It’s less than HALF the price of the flagship DAV3 and Viper v2 pro and shouldn’t have much of a difference on clicking heads. Well done cooler master!
Great review, I modded a mm710 to make it Wireless with a g305 pcb cause the shape is perfect. It’s good to hear Cooler Master is stepping their game up in the build quality aspect too, can’t wait to buy one
About time a mouse reviewer visually showed how sensor position affects arcs . Keep in mind tho that changing sens doesn't really compensate for the new range of motion, as it affects the x axis' arc more than y axis. So even if you correct your swipes horizontally now vertical movement will feel much slower. Arm aimers have less issue with this. Thats one reason sensor position is so important when it comes to muscle memory, its not worth changing if you're already developed.

Its really easy to measure physical input translating to in game by using ms paint. Open paint full screen, turn your sens way down, and mimic a typical turn. Now if you want to see how sensor position will affect you, you can do the same test in paint or in your preferred game but this time hold the mouse higher or lower in your hand than you normally would. This should give a rough example of how much your flicks and swipes would be affected.

just picked up an MM731 and the mouse works flawlessly after their FWare updates, my only two gripes which were touched upon in this video were the scroll wheel feeling a bit scuffed at times and the buttons on the side not being raised. even with those two small "problems" the mouse works fine and is incredibly light. 8/10 on the mm731 for me, ill have to check out the 712 some time in the future.
I never thought they’d make a wireless version of the mm711 and now I feel complete. Idk what it is but the shape is just perfect I just hated the wire sink started using different mice, I am so excited for this

MM711 was my first ever gaming mouse and I was a bit sad to let it go when I gave it to my best friend for him to kickstart his own gaming gears. Meanwhile, been waiting ever since for the wireless one to come out and finally here it is.
I got a mm710, when it broke I got the viper mini, but i just missed the shape of the MM and bought a mm711, would love to try out the new mm712 since its wireless and has no holes in it, the shape just feels awesome as a claw grip.
My favorite shape and my copy has been flawless. And I agree with you on the grips, I had to change them out kept slipping. But other than that everything else is great.
Damn, this would be a buy for me if they ditched the RGB and had a centered sensor positioning. Love my mm710, but the RGB adding extra weight and the atypical sensor placement just doesn't justify buying over something like a X2 Mini Edit: Streaming on UA-cam is very nice, I find it is becoming a good platform to stream on, and it's 1 click less to access (And trust me, a lot of people give up during that step)

My favorite mouse shape, however it's disappointing they didn't fix the sides of the clickers to be like the GPW, It limits the ways you can grip it because it will pinch your fingers. Also I like having a dpi button on top so I can bind it to middle mouse for when the scroll click inevitably fails.

But recently i picked MM711 with a wild discount and maaaaaan it feels right at home. But it feels very cheap and rattles like crazy. Now i seriously consider picking MM712. Because it is wireless and has no holes. Kinda curious if i would be able to swap mousewheel from MM711 to MM712...

Looks very similar to Viper mini which I swear is the best mouse ever. Price, performance, size and especially shape. I could never use ambidextrous mice because don't know why I always accidentally right clicked and it was a big problem in CSGO but no issue at all with mini. Also it is small and light and makes aiming feel so crisp and natural which I while using bigger mice takes a little effort. I realized if you play FPS games go for small size mice unless you have unusually big hands.
I used MM710 as my first lightweight mouse. Experience was really not great. Scroll wheel got mushy after only a few weeks. Got double clicking issue after only as few months. Got the MM711 as a replacement. I kid u not, it had the same double clicking issue out of the box ! So they returned the money and I bought Viper mini. It was just 1000x better to say the least. But the cable could be better. That's my only complain. Hope they did a better job with MM712.

3:43 CoolerMaster mice have always had some flaws. It's sad, because here in Brazil they have good prices, and I don't have to spend 50% of my salary to buy a mouse. But with every CoolerMaster mouse I've had, I felt like something was missing.

Not always true. Coolermaster has some bangers in their product line. Mh751 is a good example of this. Basically the best gaming headset you can buy anywhere near its price range since it’s just a Takstar Pro 82(very highly regarded budget audiophile cans) rebadged and with an added mic. The mm710 was decent as well.

I am m711 lover I have had no issues whith it at all and it’s amazing for my palm fingertip grip and for my small hands for a 14 year old
